J'ai un petit problème avec KOF Mira , le jeu roule bien, mais pas moyen de faire fonctionner aucune touche avec Game Loader RH. J'ai tout essayé, même jconfig ne veut rien savoir.

 

Y a t'il une astuce?

J'ai regle le probleme avec une nouvelle version de idmacdrv32.dll et tout fonctionne nickel, merci :)!

Une autre petite question, KOF XII et KOF XIII Climax me donnent une constante page noire. Etrangement KOF XIII marche bien.

 

Je suis sous la dernière révision de window 10, j'ai tout essayé, meme installer les codecs Lav filters et changer les relations suggérees. 

 

Y a t'il une astuce qui m'échappe pour les faire rouler?

I am new to Arcade PC too but right, it is hard to say without knowing concerned games. This can have a lot of causes! Error message gives you some advices but generally that means a bad loader mode (not supoorted by this game) or a bad setting somewhere.

 

Like it is said on Game Loader All RH guide, starting by testing loader mode -1 and not doing too much modifications is a good beginning. Then you can adjust settings if it's working that way (by trying another loader mode, adding filters...).

 

I have a vast majority of games working just fine directly on TeknoParrot or using Game Loader All RH. Most times already existing configurations are working fine, sometimes I am forced to use a completely different configuration for the game to work! And let me tell you that tests can take hours for a game... This far I have 10 dumps having issues (no controller or bad resolution or not working...) over 80 of them.

 

For example, some games most people run using TeknoParrot aren't working for me so I use Game Loader All RH in that case. Or some games are working using mode loader -1 for many poeple and I am forced to switch to loader mode dg for it to work (it is a rare case).

 

What I've learned this far : I start now by testing game using directly TeknoParrot, if it don't works, I add GLARH starting from the most basic configuration and try to go as far as possible. Of course, taking a look at corresponding game topic on Emuline is a good idea too and can bring some solutions sometimes.

I'm trying to set up some batch that call Game Loader, with a Frontend. 

 

batch content (it's basic, i will add PAUSE functionality sooner)

 

cd "Game Loader All RH\Chaos Breaker"
"Game Loader All RH.exe"

 

It's working fine, but the game is behind the frontend's GUI. If i call TeknoParrot with the batch this not happen. I ask if there's some settings i need to put in Game Loader in order to have the game above the frontend's GUI.

sauf que je m'appecois que pour Elevator Action Death Parade si je lance un fichier BAT, cela ne garde pas la mise ne page du jeux.

Je ne suis plus en plein ecran avec les shader

 

Comme si Game loader perdait la config si on ne le lance pas directement merci

Chaos Breaker pause function is supported ? I also used universal pause button but it doesn't work.

@cybermat no reason game is behind front-end, I use Hyperspin+RocketLauncher, I've set some dumps using Game Loader All RH and it's working fine. I often indicate directly Game Loader All RH.exe for concerned game under RocketLauncher but sometimes I use a batch file too.

 

Fact game is above front-end can be caused by another application, for example, sometimes (even when minimized) Discord window is appearing when I launch a dump and stay above game! In that case I just kill Discord. See if you have a non-essential application running and try to kill it.

@POPO69, je n'ai pas tout compris mais je ne vois pas de raison pour qu'un fichier batch modifie le comportement de Game Loader All RH, par contre les patchs ça oui ça arrive... après il faut s'amuser avec certaines applications comme Borderless Gaming ou SRWE pour ajuster l'affichage si cela ne peut être correctement effectué directement dans les réglages de Game Loader All RH pour le cas présent. Après, peut-être est-ce Demulshooter qui cause cette incidence?!

I solved game behind frontend (i use F.e.e.l. an italian frontend), it's enough killing frontend after game launching.

 

I'm also scripting pause functionality but seems not working with some games. Is there a list where pause is not supported natively via Game Loader frontend?

I have an issue concerning Chaos Code New Sign of Catastrophe v2.11. I only was able to start this game using GLARH, it is now working fine but I still have an issue when selecting skills:

 

Edit: Issue fixed, it was due to language that was set to english on GLARH Loader Settings 1 tab, switched it to Japanese solved issue:

 

But I have another issue, I didn't noticed it first because it is not happening all the time (oh and yeah switched to wide sreen on test mode, issue was already here before), just look at Celia, it can occurs on all characters.

 

Does anyone knows how to fix it please?

One thing that I don't really know about GLARH is how Full Screen in Window Size if ticked works. I never have to tick Full Screen and it's automatically full screen. It makes me feel like GLARH works like Borderless Gaming. There's also times where you need to change the desktop resolution first to 1366*768 before the game image would look correct. Too many combinations to try. I spend more time setting up the game than actually playing it, which is part of fun too.

That's a good question, when you install GLARH in portable mode, you can see all of is stuff under Sv folder. I didn't noticed any Borderless Gaming but you're right, seems like it works the same way, maybe it is directly implemented to code.

 

I don't change my desktop resolution before launching a game, it will be a real mess to play those dumps using a front-end. So I do all needed tests to be sure game will be correctly shown, keeping my desktop resolution and scale. For most of dumps it isn't that hard, TeknoParrot and JConfig or GLARH can do the job by itself but some dumps are interacting with those settings (most of time through front-end). Like I said in a previous comment, playing with DPI settings for concerned emulator/game (on executable properties, telling it to be application managed or system managed) can help.

 

Sometimes games internal resolution are pretty strange (Too Spicy seems to have a native resolution of 1280x768, I didn't succeed in having a clean fullscreen, at best I lost a small part of image at the top).

I had exactly the same problem as you but got it figured out. First, make sure that you set the right executable in TKPR,  apacheM.ELF and controller setup too. Second, set monitor resolution in Windows Size tab in GLAR to 1280*768. That's pretty much about it.

Hi! I have a problem, it happens to me with any version of Gameloader, whether portable or not.
When I exit the games, I have a black screen and in the background an .exe called srtgl.exe plus the same game.

When this happens that is I always have to reboot. Any ideas? I have deleted and put the Gameloader Roaming folder back but the same thing keeps happening.

When i use Game Loader, it seems that autohotkey script that i use to control volume is not working. I tried to use Hotkey with pad.ini and it's working , but it's just to know if i need this change or i can keep using autohotkey with Game Loader.

 

I dug into this and seem that not all the games have these behaviour, the game with script not working for example is Street Fighter III 3rd Strike - Fight for the Future , so it seems not related to GameLoader in itself. 

Anyway if you have any hints they will be appreciated.

I have further questions regarding The Bishi Bashi , i see that Game Loader gives the chance to use some Hotkeys , they are hardcoded ? For green red yellow and blu buttons it is mapping UP DOWN RIGHT AND LEFT , but buttons would be easier.

I can create an autohotkey script but if it's possible i'd avoid this.

I have a strange problem with game loader RH  

 

To play taito/nesica games I need to fresh install game loader RH each time and game will launch just fine.

After I quit playing the game  , after some time the game loader RH will not load the same game again. I will need fresh install game loader RH  inside same game folder.

Why is this happening? Very Frustrating  , I tried both normal and portable .

My rig does not have AV, Defender or Firewall , etc.

I am using Win7 Ultimate, 32G, 980TI

I had played Sega Race TV with stretched hud using TP+GLARH at 1920x1080 last month but now, game is running with non-stretched hud.

What is the issue right now.

There is a video on YOUTUBE playing  with fixed hud but solution not mentioned

 

is there any solution?

Guys i've downloaded the latest release, unpacked it (after i've excluded it from the antivirus) but even if i launch the installer or config nothing happens. In appdata/roaming it doesnt even create the folder with the ini.

A very old version instead works. Any clues?

If it's useful to anyone else, a small `bat` file that I wrote to help update all my instances of Game Loader when a new release is available.

 

The process to use is:

1. Download an updated Game Loader and place it in a directory of your choosing
2. Copy the below and place it in a file with a name like `updater.bat` in that same directory
3. Run the `updater.bat` file

To explain what the script does:

1. It iterates through all drive letters
2. And finds copies of `Game Loader All RH.exe`, `Game Loader Config.exe`, and `Game Loader Installer.exe` (other than those in the directory you're updating from)
3. And for each, it asks if you want to replace those older version(s) with this new version

i made a program for that a while back, has a gui and only updates games with game loader files in it. you point to the root with all the game folders in it and let it do its thing

I typically use portable mode and then only update games that have issues that have been fixed, Ive found universally updating all instances of GameLoader can intorduce issues that werent there before, I would recheck every game after you run the script ..

 

It may be that GameLoader is more stable now ?
