Hi

 

I have a problem with the first version of the game that came out (I mean the USA version)

 

The game works great,, but I have two problems:

 

1) It seems the number of continues is somehow limited, as there is a point that the game does not accept more coins to continue playing

2) When I exit with Alt+F4, it exits the game, but not completely, as game.exe is still loaded. It gives an error and then I can quit definitely

 

Are there any fixes to these problems?

 

I'm using Windows 7 64bits with AMD card and I'm using the patched game.exe from this forum

 

The "new" JAP version does not have these problems

For this game in the USA or JP version, I use the Game Loader All RH.exe to run it. And when you press Esc, the game closes completely. How many credits, the limit is 9 more whenever I need, I insert more, I had no problems.

Thanks xtremebuga, it works great and now I can exit the game without problems with ESC key

Not tried the coin issue yet, I'll do it tonight :D

I would have to say get a version of Haunted museum 2 and transfer the data files over to the Jconfig file

Hello everyone...first time poster on this site...which is fantastic by the way. My issue with this game is that i'm trying you use a aimtrak gun and i can select the stage i want and once the stage starts after 5 seconds or so my crosshair travels to the upper right hand side of the screen and it just "gets stuck" there and i cant do anything to get it unstuck. I have my main mouse unplugged also. Any tips to correct this??

bonsoir, est-ce qu'une âme charitable serai dispo durant le weekend pour m'aider a faire tourner le jeu via skype ou autre, parce que la je galère...

Windows 10 avec les kilte codec à jour j'ai beau essayer tous les game.exe que j'ai trouver sur ce post, de passer par game loader ou de modifier le fichier .ini toujours le même probleme: movie-read error

Hey, I was wondering how to change the controls for Player 2, I want to shoot using the left click(which makes it easier for me rather than the right click). So I can get a better score at the game.

I finally got it to work...here's what I did for those needing help.

Edit the ini file as follows (no spaces between each line) - don't change resolution or it will crash:

SCREEN_WIDTH 1280
SCREEN_HEIGHT 768

RENDER_HEIGHT 768
ENABLE_VSYNC 1
FRAME_SKIP 0
FPS_DISP 1
REGION U
RENDER_WIDTH3D 1280
RENDER_HEIGHT3D 768

 

Install the latest version of K-Lite_Codec_Pack_1484_Full (do not change associations just install the drivers)

 

Then the game launches, press S to go to service mode here calibrate the guns then press 1 to accept and ESC to exit. 

 

Press S during game for COINS then begin by pressing 1 and then just mouse for the rest.

 

If you have a Aimtrak or Wiimote gun - use software such as Winmote or Aimtrak settings to calibrate it as a mouse and off you go!

 

IT CAN BE LAUNCHED FROM ANY DIRECTORY/SUB DIRECTORY AND RUN AS IS IN WINDOWS 10 (LATEST PATCHES AS OF MARCH 2019) NO NEED FOR WINDOWS XP/7.

Hi, in the us version, the gun work for me as a pistol, only if i press the right mouse button with the left button at the same time, it act as machine gun.

how can i change it to machine gun without pressing al right button all the time?

In the jap version, the gun works fine as a machine gun with the left button.

Hi , I'm trying to play this on windows 7 with an aimtrak, the game start at the correct resolution but the gun act like crazy, the cursor jump from one side to the other of the screen. The gun is calibrated correctly,  I see it working on windows and I've already made the in game calibration in the service menu. Is there something else I can try?

having troubles with gaia attack4 haunted museum 2. It took me a while to haunted museum going but I finally got it. Here is the weird issue. I am on win 10 64 bit. They were all giving me a sound error at boot. After hours of playing around with different versions of haunted museum I finally got it to run. Haunted Museum 2 and Gaia attack 4 will run from my hard drive I use for downloading or my OS drive I have BUT my hard drive I have setup for arcade stuff. It continues to give the sound error. Even if I copy them exactly from another drive that they work on. Any ideas?

apparently ... it is not a forum of people very generous and ready to help and I do not speak only of me, there are several people who ask for help .... but no one answers .... yet we share a passion in common! anyway, having said that .... I try again ... as far as Haunting Museum 2 is concerned .... I tried various versions ... and various ini files ... initially I also gave the double message error sound ... passed this though .... I can start any version of the game, but only in the window .... and not in full screen ... someone good-hearted .... can you help?

i have a weird problem with the english version. how to make the gun to shoot automatic with left click?

1. automatic shooting only work if i press the right mouse button also. if i only press the left button, it shoot one bullet at a time.

2. in the japanese, version i dont need to click the right mouse button, it shoots fine with only the left mouse button.
