According to the manual the JVS I/O is emulated by DumbJVSManager.exe in a VM

DumbJVSManager.exe was / is part of teknoparrot

On this page is all the source code needed ?

Could this be compiled / ported to / for linux, so there is no need to run a VM to run DumbJVSManager.exe ?

Done every step by the time i try to run it i get this error ./WMN4r: error while loading shared libraries: libprotobuf.so.7: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory  I am Running Ubuntu 19.04 No i haven't got the updates Because thoses links are broken :(

Only linux now, and in that you need to run a VM with windows 7 with DunbJVSManager.exe for game inputs

Also a serial port connection between host OS and guest VM

also the tutorial has them using Linux Ubuntu 16.04 64 bit so im going to check that out

I think he's very difficult to develop EMU. Should have to wait for the future.

My guess is you need a 32 bit version of Linux

No I have the game not running yet, no time to check it out

thx ,but i know ppl that run the game on 64bit....first i did installed 32bit ubuntu,but can't get old vm to work with it,i'll keep trying:)

btw,i want to run the game,because i'm working on the translation mod for it:)

i need help, vmware never seems to detect /dev/tnt1 and i cannot proceed with jvs emulation because of it.. i already did the usual sudo depmod ; modprobe tty0tty ; chmod666 /dev/tnt* and installed tty0tty

I think wmmt5 used to play it, it doesn't have Ghost Battle mode too, but wmmt4 is very difficult to install. Plus it takes a long time or playing Assetto Corsa is much more ok, plus there is a mod hud + wangan map too.

How do you save your progress in game? i got to the point you can select a car and name the car after That it brings me to the main menu. But I want to know How to access this menu in game? What do i need to change in the game files to access it

This game is very difficult to install. Most of them require VMware Windows 7 + Linux Ubuntu 16.04 32 bit. it's really tricky or you can wait for the future on Teknoparrot, just like with Windows support.
