1) Do NOT run ALIENS+controls_LAUNCHER_v2 or any other app from this thread at the same time. DemulShooter alone is what you need for dual Lightgun, these tools only exist to let people playing with mouse (or a keyboard) and will interfere with the Lightgun handling.

 

2) Make sure your .exe name hasn't been modified: "aliens dehasped.exe" if you're using  -rom=aliens, or "abhRelease.exe" if you're using -rom=alienshasp

This could be a reason why DemulShooter is not finding aliens process to hook  it

I have removed the launcher.

 

Now I am running directly the aliens.exe cracked (ALIENS CRK v2) as shown in the picture:

 

The game loads, but demulshooter does not work either.

 

Am I forced to put my Aliens folder on C: and run it with aliens dehasped.exe?

For the C: path it's not important for Demulshooter, it is just important for the game to run (depending on your cracked version)

Ok ! I just renamed "aliens.exe" into "aliens dehased.exe" and finally it works !!

 

The calibration was tricky though, since by default it seems that the cross hairs are very sensitive by default and difficult to stay on screen.

Do you guys know if there's a way to increase the speed at which this game runs?

 

My computer is not really powerful and it seems to me that the game is launched in 1080p FHD resolution? I've tried changing the resolution of my monitor to 800x600, then using the MouseEnabler.exe and ResolutionChager.exe set to 800x600 and the graphics look almost as good as when it was configured in 1080p, so the speed is still really slow for me.

 

Can you think of a way to make the game run quicker? I don't mind about the quality of the graphics...

Salut tous le monde. 

J'ai remis le jeux avec le crack v2  pour tester car je suis sous win7 64bit. le jeux se lance bien comme sur 32bit mais impossible d'avoir la souris meme en ayant réinstallé ppjoy. Est ce que quelqu'un pourrais me dire ce qu'il faut faire en détails car je ne peux calibrer le gun , seul les boutons de la sourie son detecterté et pas les mouvement. merci.

@ argonlefou i can't seem to get Demulshooter to hook. My exe has not been renamed or modified. I'm trying to use my Aimtrak. Do i need to do anything special within demulshooter? I choose my device and saved, but that's it. Any help would be appreciated.

First: Thanks for the tutorial video. But i have a problem: When i start to play, after a couple of minutes my computer is freeze. Its does not matter i play or i just in the menu.

Je crois que je n'arrive pas non plus à hook le aliens dehasped.exe avec demulshooter, car quand je quitte le aliens dehasped.exe, demulshooter est toujours actif alors qu'en general il se kill tout seul en meme temps.

j'ai vérifié les noms plusieurs fois... j'utilise demulshooter v7.6

 

autre question, est-ce que quelqu'un a trouvé une solution pour modifier les boutons dans AimTrak autrement que manuellement, je cherche à utiliser demul et mame sans avoir à quitter le frontend, ou tout simplement faire des config spéciales, comme utiliser les pompes de mes shotguns midway pour le lance flamme dans alien

EDIT : ok le demulshooter se hook bien maintenant, j'avais mis lancer en administrateur le .exe, du coup il fallait aussi lancer le raccourci demulshooter et mon script ahk en admin pour que tout le monde se parle

hi to all, I report my problem for fast speed. In my Arcade Cab if I start the game with the keyboard the player 1 with press the "number 1" button the game woks perfect, but if I configure my arcade cab and associate the "player 1" on the arcade buttons with any button via joytokey or ppjoy or via joypad 360 the game run ultra fast ... a sort of god mode… i don't know how to solve this problem

Sous windows, le fichier batch est sans doute la manière la plus connue d’ouvrir plusieurs applications à la fois.

Pour en créer un, c’est très simple, voici les étapes :

 

1) Créez d’abord un nouveau fichier .txt sur votre bureau. Puis collez à l’intérieur le modèle suivant :

merci pour ta réponse rapide. je vais regarder ca ce soir....et surtout continuer à essayer d'aider les autres aussi avec mes qq compétences  

 

Aprés, j'ai essayé le loader de Mohkerz de la page d'avant mais du coup mon alien freeze toutes les 2-3 secondes / quand j'essaie de tirer. faut que je cherche là aussi car pouvoir le mettre dans un autre repertoire est aussi bien pratique !

Will this game work on an AMD card?

EDIT: I followed the instructions as provided by WildWolf, but there are 2 problems.

(1) When i start the game I do not see the cursor when selecting the mission hence i cannot select the mission and the timer ends.

(2) When the game starts it's running extremely fast along with the mouse cursor not working! 

 

Thing to note is that i am using a regular mouse to play the game.

 

Help will be appreciated.

The link you provided had the file missing again, however i googled glut32.dll and found it. Calibrated my cursor successfully with values for GUN LEFT and GUN UP =0, GUN RIGHT and GUN DOWN= 65535

I can see the cursor now in the main game menu but the game is still running VERY FAST.

Am i missing anything?

Hey mate i got it running, i set V-sync ON and Frame Rate Limiter to 60 fps. I would like to know if the audio can be fixed anyway (Audio mostly works in one speaker/ left headphone cup).

Also is there a way where this can be played with 2 mice in a 2 player setup (Just like in Model 2 and Model 3 Emulator)?

anybody having the issue that with the Moakerz loader when you try to shoot the games freeze for 2-3 seconds ? 

 

i tried the Wildwolf tips for the .bat file but as the name of the exe includes a space i'm able to launch the Aliens_MouseEnabler.exe but not the exe of the game. I tried to googled for a solution but did not find one :(

Can the Aliens_MouseEnabler be used to configure controls? I assume it would only be for keyboard right? If so then how can this be done? Or is it that the controls are fixed and cannot be changed?

Are you sure Demul Shooter can be used for 2 usb mice? Because i have been trying to get that working around an year ago for Demul light gun games, but sadly it didn't work. If you can confirm me that 2 usb mice can work with demul shooter then that will be awesome.
