I thought that the main problem was getting the game to boot and read

It was achieved but sadly I think the chances of getting it to work fully and playable r very slim

It's not hard, it's just VERY time consuming to map the dongle calls.

 

Also Raw Thrills are not attractive arcade games.

Indeed, I asked if anyone was by offering money a while back, but people kept refusing me.

 

I have a fulltime work I work 10 hours a day, priority laming around with shit linux is not one atm.

Coudnt said it better myself, their games are hardly worth the diskspace. It amazes me that these raw thrills f**kers are still in bizznizz. I really hope they go bankrupt soon so some other decent arcade developer can get the licenses for decent franchises instead of these assholes wasting them on mediocre crap games.

In general their games are not great, but this one + dirty driving, are my fav arcade games in the last 15 years.

It is recovery / install media for original cabinets, AND it is LINUX based !

Today I tried to download Alien's install disc and with virtualbox I installed the game, and shows the insert dongle screen. Now it's time to see if it's possible to bypass the dongle......

I think a lot of people would love

to see a video of aliens armageddon and

terminator salvation working on pc

but we r almost at the point that there 

fate will be like most of time crisis arcade series forgotten and left behind sadly

Sad but true it seems like the urgency to get a lot of these games working isn’t as strong as it was in years past we either get half working games or games that doesn’t work at all I’m not sure if it’s a money thing or a lack of ppl to help work on these games with the knowledge to know how,I wish I was smart enough to work on this stuff I would get all of them working I can’t start a project and not see it through it drives me nuts lol hopefully soon we will see a change in games fully functioning and dumped as well and not just for the exclusive class

What's such a shame is Drift Dongle guy has all of the dongles, we just need someone to help him dump the dongle info

I don’t think tp devs have the decrypted files and also it’s linux based maybe with the improved elf loader they working on? one thing for sure when the work is done it’ll enable a lot more games but the real question 

is if and when

also it’s an old game from 2010 and afaik no video of it so sadly it probably means no one has it playable on pc

Over at the Teknoparrot Discord for RawThrills Someone seems to have DONE IT. Terminator Salvation has been cracked. But as to where the rom is and how this is done and all that I am sorry I don't have those details but it's something we may yet see a playable version extremely soon. I'll post more when I know more. I only just woke up to this.

I know the dumps been around for a long time a lot longer then that but the game working on Tecknoparrot only happened a few days ago. Late yes but not by a month.

Fairly easy, use a Hex editor..

offset 5650E4 - 5650E7 (hex) in the "game" file (elf) should be 50 05 00 03 by default.
Some common values to change to:-
1920x1080 - 80 07 38 04
2560x1440 - 00 0A A0 05
3840x2160 - 00 0F 70 08
