[Arcade PC] Dead Heat Arcade (Bandai-Namco) [Linux + Nvidia Gpu Required]

hi having touble running the game. It loads for a while and then exits back to the teknoparrot main screen...

Could be the version of the game is wrong (got from virusman), or i'm missing files in teknoparrot in a specific directory required for this to work.

Can someone please suggest what could be wrong or needs doing to get this working,

as i really looked forward to playing this for ages, and been trying many things for a long time to

get this working... could be something simple.. thanks for advice and suggestions.

what ver?? video? what your running...we can't just guess..

hi thanks for replying.. running on win7 64, video- geforce 760 gtx Ti, 16mb ram...

cant see any error as window closes very quickly.

Dead heat riders run perfectly, so can;'t understand why this does not work.

other people on this  thread also experience the same issue.

someone above quoted -

Well, if you have access to a second pc try to compare.

i dont know if people still have issues with running Dead Heat in teknoparrot, when launching the game to see [NET] failed to change eth0 settings, in the rootfolder there is a file called webcam.log saying [ERROR]: ReadSample failed. 
so i've changed the config.csv file inside the data/csv folder with notepad++

 

 

i have changed this:
USE_CAMERA_DEVICE,TRUE,Enable Camera. Disable if you get camera errors or set another camera to /dev/video0

into this:
USE_CAMERA_DEVICE,FALSE,Disable Camera. Disable if you get camera errors or set another camera to /dev/video0

now its all well  and the game finally runs.

hi thanks for suggestion. I changed the config exactly as you shown.. run the game again in TP, and still getting the same [NET] failed error.

Any further ideas and suggestions?, as this is the only TP game i can't get working...must be something simple as DH riders runs ok
