Download the required BepInEx software from: https://github.com/BepInEx/BepInEx/releases/tag/v5.4.23.2       Please Note: Most games will require the x64 release, with a few exceptions that require the x86 version, as noted in the Special Notes section at the end of this document. Make sure your TeknoParrot software is up to date after the game is officially added and required updates have merged to the TeknoParrot GitHub. Download the required game specific TeknoParrot plugin from the #fixes channel on the TeknoParrot Discord server https://discord.com/invite/bntkyXZ  Installation  Now that you’ve acquired all the required files, let’s get started! I promise you this is not hard, and takes only a very small amount of computer knowledge and skill.  The following game & pictures are only shown as an example, but the overall process is the same for each game, other than those with game specific variations which will be discussed in the  Special Notes at the end of this guide.  Ready?  Then let’s go!  Step 1: Unzip the downloaded game files with your software of choice, and you should have something like this (Mars Sortie used as an example)  Above is an example of a clean dump.  If your game looks something like this picture below: You will need to do the following: Delete the BepInEx folder entirely, and also the following files - .doorstop_version, changelog.txt, doorstop_config.ini, and winhttp.dll.  These are BepInEx files added by another person, possibly for use with another loader. You will want to start with clean files to avoid any possible issues.  Step 2:  Find and extract the version of BepInEx you downloaded earlier. Extract it directly into your game folder. Before After  Here is what the inside of the BepInEx should like like before you attempt to play the game: It should only have a folder named core before the first run of the game.  Step 3: Before going into the TeknoParrot UI to set up, or launching the game, double click on the game’s exe file and let the game attempt to load. This step will let BepInEx create the other additional files & folders it needs to work with the game correctly. The game may not do anything, may show a black screen, or it may crash entirely. This is normal and perfectly okay. Close the game window however necessary, and now the inside of your BepInEx folder should look like this: Step 4: Extract the required TeknoParrot plugin you downloaded from the #fixes channel on their discord into the BepInEx\plugins\ folder as shown: Step 5: Open your TeknoParrot UI and configure the game & controller settings to your liking, the same as any other TeknoParrot game. The game should now work and play as intended. Any issues or help should be sought out from the TeknoParrot discord.  Congratulations!! See how easy that was? Special Notes: 1) Wild West Shootout requires the x86 version of BepInEx 2) Family Guy Bowling requires the BepInEx config file, located in the \BepInEx\config\ folder, to be edited in a txt file editor. Change Type=Application to Type=MonoBehaviour as shown in the following example.   3) It’s uncommon, but some people may need to use slightly older versions of the BepInEx    software.  4) Not BepInEx related, but Nerf Arcade will give you a popup about Pk-UnityPlugin.dll.     You can either uncheck the GraphicsFix box in the Game Settings, or continue to search Google. Should you succeed in finding it, this file should be placed in your \Nerf_Data\Plugins\ folder,     not the \BepInEx\plugins\ folder. Modifié samedi à 12:57 par jcstahl1 3
