Pinball FX2 Exclusive Tables

Hi pinball addicts !
Here is a hacked tiny build of the good old Pinball FX2 supporting only the tables that have not been ported to Pinball FX3 or the new Pinball FX
This version also features the 2 tables which were exclusive to consoles - Ripped and converted from Zen Pinball 2 on PS3
If you launch FX2 via command line, the command to start the new tables would be -singleplayer -starttable "NinjaGaiden" and -singleplayer -starttable "StreetFighter2"
Cabinet support is unlocked
Languages supported : deutsch, english, español, français, italiano - Change it in LumaEmu.ini
The game is showing its age, you may want to use ReShade to give it a facelift

It's been quite complicated.
I struggled for a while before finding some good advice on a Reddit thread that has now disappeared.
I'm very glad to have finally been able to add Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 to my cab.
The pity is that SSF2 doesn't seem to be natively compatible with cabinet mode.

are you able to just take ssf2 and ninja gaiden and put them in with an existing install, or did you have to hack the exe and other files to get them to work? I have an existing install that i already limited to the fx2 only tables.

The 2 console tables cannot be just cut and paste to an existing install.

In fact they take the place of 2 other tables (Avengers and World War Hulk).

I had to edit the contextID of the tables. This basically tells the game in which slot the table is on the main menu.

So if you really want to add those tables to your existing install and don't want 'em to replace Avengers and World War Hulk, you will have to do this :

 

1) Find the contextID of the table you want to replace (for example if you wanna put a table over X-Men, the contextID would be 14) and keep note of it.

 

2) In each of the "NinjaGaiden" and "StreetFighter2" folders, there is a "meta" subfolder.

In each of those "meta" subfolders, there is a "table.cfg" file.

Open this file with a text editor. Find the contextID line and replace it with the ID of the table you noted previously in step 1

 

3) Save and close the file.

 

4) Repeat steps 1 to 3 for the other table.

 

5) Cut and paste NinjaGaiden and StreetFighter2 folders to your existing install : steamapps\common\Pinball FX2\data_steam\

r0n1n, very clever; in the past you could also run these 2 unique tables in RPCS3 and Xenia, but this is much easier!
