 this game released in linux base os,
you cant run this game properly in windows but yes TP can do this

I'm fairly sure that is exactly what he did, but even so the screenshots are edited because even running & playing it in Linux, it still shows the "Printer out of paper" error that entire time you're playing.

Already run the game but i can't do nothing to run.. cuz printer out of paper lol some help? i am using windows 10

If you check the file "Adjustables" and Adjustables.bak" there is this "printerEnabled|0|"  But looking at the settings for other things, "0" is off and "1" is on.  The default is 0 (off).  So if yours is off then it shouldn't even check if the printer has paper.  Or who knows, maybe it's related to some type of protection.

Everyone, this is originally a linux based game.  The original uploader who originally posted it in 1cc discord, added the Windows exe & mono dll from the correct version of Unity to even make it boot in Windows.  It's not going to get any further than that in Windows unless someone patches the assembly c sharp dll, or creates a BepInEx plugin to override it.  The screenshots & videos being posted are people who ran the game in Linux (Debian and Ubuntu work).  

 

For reference:  I own an original cab for this game.

IS THIS STILL LINUX ONLY ! /  cause just tested on win11 tp ver with tp .dll plugin in place and still / black screen nothing /  crash errors ?

You need to open up the BePinEx cfg file and under [Preloader.Entrypoint] set type=MonoBehaviour. Also, the BePinEx folder needs to be in the same folder as the exe file

It's Linux only, so the only way to play it on Windows is through Teknoparrot

Ok i done these passages but the game gives me a Resolution error sayng to me that It fails to switch High res...

I can load it and still the same printer errors and no controls...even with the .dll in the plugin folder...omething i am missing...lol

I had to use Teknoparrot Discord for the answer to the out of paper error. I used the wrong BePinEx so if you download from this link:

https://github.com/BepInEx/BepInEx/releases/download/v5.4.23.2/BepInEx_win_x64_5.4.23.2.zip

and extract to your family guy folder.

 

Load it up, and you will probably get a crash. Quit it and bepinex.cfg will be created in BepInEx folder and you will need to edit it with notepad.

 

On the last section [preload.entrypoint] where type is change it to

 

Type= MonoBehaviour

 

Save it and the game will run normally!

 

For the buttons, uncheck disable hard-coded buttons  as the controls aren't properly supported. If you don't have a trackball controller use the mouse and enable trackball in the ui.

 

Hard-Coded buttons are:

 

S = Start

Enter = Select

Left and Right buttons = hook

working now both on linux and windows 😃 so from the teknoparrot ui it should look like this well how it worked or me under windows 11

replace the Application with MonoBehaviour u wont get this cfg file until u load the game on teknoparrot in my case it gave me a weird looking screen and then i exited out and navigated back to the family guy directory and saw the new created folder.

in BepInEx folder u will need to create the plugins folder and copy the .dll into plugins folder.

Excuse me how resolve my problem? Game gives me this message: Cannot switch ti requested Resolution...and crashes.. i tried all..to update drivers, but nothingh..only if i decrease resolution in my monitor options  it starts but in a weird screen mode

the controls settings in TP aren't working correctly yet.  you can use the hardcoded keys & mouse as mentioned a few posts up.

in your TPUI game settings you need:

general - simulate trackback checked

general - hidecursor unchecked

general - disablehardcodedkeys unchecked

for the keyboard buttons to work

Awesome...ty it worked...had to extract BepInEx folder to the Bowling.exe dir. then make  folder called plugins and put the FGBTPPlugin.dll in it .then run TP and load the game. it will just show a background... X out of tp and goto the BepInEx in config and edit BepInEx.exe ,adding Type= MonoBehaviour in place of Type = Application.save and run game...It would not make the config, if i didn't make a plugins folder and put the FGBTPPlugin.dll first...TY All for all the help....and TY Shin Endymion for the walk through along with RetrnArcGamer35...
