However, I strongly recommend that people living in Japan should not use this HDD as there will be legal issues.

Just go to your nearest game center. There are so many of them in Japan and their versions are latest.

Why bother getting the old version's dump and take the risk of being arrested?

Because that data is Festival and not Festival Plus

the segatools im using makes the timer infinite by default, I didn't have to change anything

Open the mai2.ini, and you can see this screen

Set it up the "MusicSelectTime" like the screenshot above

Although it can't reach infinity, it can also keep the time to select songs at 99

Is it normal that when I start a song with the fake 1.35, I can't play ?  Only the music is playing and at the end it is stucked on this song until I close the game.

I downloaded 1.35 from teknoparrot, and in game it displays 1.30.A not 1.35.A

i don't think real 1.35 is public

I got some information from someone related.

I cannot say too much but at least now 1.35 is not public, and also, not free of charge.

In addition, it seems to work only for the real cabinet.

It is nearly impossible to make home playable 1.35 without a real cabinet.

I think it is better to wait for them to leak the T-1 version. They are not bad though.

Maimai DX setup tutorial:
1.Unzip the maimai dx file that your downloaded from somewhere.
2.Find the same version of the segatools.
3.Place (Replace) them in your package.
(For the package location, originally in App\Package or only the package file, package is a file that contains "sinmai.exe".)
4.Open segatools.ini inside package. Fill everything needed under [vfs] section.
(If its already filled with something like "option=option", its ok.)
Time to open our game.
5.First, check out io4 input in segatools.ini. Remember inputs of "test" and "service".
(They are based on virtual-key-codes, maybe there is a link to offical document in segatools.ini.)
6.Run start.bat
7.When the game is "self-checking", press "test" key. You will be in "Game test settings" screen.
8.Now press "service" key to select, select "ゲーム設定" (Game settings) and press "test" key to enter.
9.Turn off "店内マッチングの設定" (In-store matching setting)
10.Enter "閉店設定" (Closing settings)
11.Set the time (時) to "全時刻" (all time).
12.Leave "Game test settings" and enter the game.
（“coin" key is for adding credits.)

 

Setup "Freeplay":
1.Go in "config_common.json", find "credit" section. Set "freeplay" to true.
2.If there is no "freeplay" option in this section, find the original datas and copy it inside.

Connect to server:
For public:
1.Go to segatools.ini, find [dns] section. Set "default" = public server address
2.Go to "DEVICE" in the package, rewrite aime.txt with a random 20 digit number. (If there is no aime.txt, create it.)
3.Open segatools.ini, find [aime] section and make it enabled.
(Set it as disabled if you have a own aime reader.)
4.Open your game and enjoy.
For local:
1.Download a local server.
2.Go to segatools.ini, find [dns] section. Set "default" = your ip address.
3.Set something like "listening_address" or "allnet.server.host" as your ip address.
4.If you are using aqua, run it as adminstrator. And make sure everything in aqua is "ok".
4.1. If you are using other local servers, please follow its guide carefully.
5.Go to "DEVICE" file in the package, rewrite aime.txt with a random 20 digit number. (If there is no aime.txt, create it.)
6.Open segatools.ini, find [aime] section and make it enabled.
(Set it as disabled if you have a own aime reader.)
7.Open the game and enjoy.

(You have to go through entire round to save your datas.)

I tried this dll and the screen size was fixed, but the game now crashes directly after I skip the tutorial, is there any fix for this?

Edit: I'm using maimai universe plus 1.25, not festival, could this be why?

ALright, so Uptobox is pretty much dead, that means we've lost a LOT of data that was being hosted there. Fingers crossed it might come back, but it smells like the French government went in and shut them down without even letting them know about it... Is anyone willing to upload Maimai stuff on mega or 1fichier for now? It's become quite hard to obtain maimai data at this point because of this... Thanks!
