aqua and artemis both are supposed to have backward compatibility, meaning they should work;

However I tried with artemis with no success(https://gitea.tendokyu.moe/Hay1tsme/artemis/issues/77), maybe the data of the game is not decrypted so artemis won't do.

(I also tried several "online-aqua" servers, and sadly none of them work either)

I believe since the version is older, there is no aqua for DX plus and theres only aqua servers for modern versions of maimai.

For BUDDiES/SDEZ 1.40-A, I removed s.bat, which wiped the C:\ drive. Please exercise maximum caution before you use this. I have personally tested it and verified that it does work when using start.bat in the Package folder.

aime.msm.moe is the only server I tested this with.

But a version without movies as this Maimai Buddies excuse me but what sense has? Is not complete

iirc, Omnimix is pack that added old contents (or removed contents) from old version of the game into new version. You can read the readme.txt included in omnimix for details what contents added in that mix.

For the meaning of omnimix, omni is Latin for every, thus mix everything pack.

I'm trying to set up BUDDiES (or even just Festival+) on my PC for future use with maiDXR since I am planning to buy a VR headset, however, I'm having a strange issue: I wanted to verify that I had set up the game properly (Artemis runs fine for my Chunithm Sun/Sun Plus install, so I'll be using it for Fes+ until it supports BUDDiES, Segatools is installed for both BUDDiES and Fes+, normally, it should be okay), I can get in-game, but absolutely no notes appear on any chart. Videos, songs, everything plays perfectly, but nothing appear.

 

I may have read that this could be a bad dump, but considering that some of you managed to get their installs working, I doubt that would be it. Both BUDDiES and Fes+ seem to have this issue on my end, could it be some configuration issue? There doesn't seem to be anything in the logs that seem to indicate some error related to a missing file or some kind of runtime error.

Update: I've retried setting up everything from the clean version of Fes+ (1.35-A, no Omnimix and no extra OPTs, amfs+option+appdata in the Package folder, Artemis up-to-date, debug enabled, singleplayer enabled) and the most recent Segatools that were available on Gitea, looks like it hasn't fixed anything, but I did find another strange issue: when a song is supposed to end (to make the transition to the result screen), instead, the game believes that the song isn't over (as in, the bottom screen is stuck on the last frame of the movie that plays during a song, but the visual effects when pressing keys still occur, and the background decorations are still moving on the top screen). Is there an issue with the executable (using the decrypted 1.35 Sinmai executable that was part of the SDEZ 1.35 tools that was posted a few pages ago) or one of the DLLs on my end?

If the chart if made before festival version (or the map that not using any funky slider), then you can use MaiConverter (https://github.com/donmai-me/MaiConverter) and convert it on your own. The result may not be perfect as if the chart was changing polyrhythm a lots like PP or Our Wrenally, then the polyrhythm ratio when converted aren't perfect (as 1/7 can be 142/995); but there is a way to fix that is to change the epsilon error to be smaller/larger in the rounding/finding gcd function of that python script.

 

Other than that approach, only way is to chart it yourself.

Hi bros, sorry if this is a stupid question but I heard that there is a way to stream the game to a tablet so I can actually play it, so I would like to know if this is a possibility and obviously how?
