I have uploaded mirrors of several files from uptobox. This includes notably 舞萌DX 2023 (SDGB 1.30.00) (labeled as maimai CN) (as a tar file containing the original parts uploaded...) and the omnimix for festival.

 

Immediately after I posted my last detailed instruction guide emuline went down and the thread was briefly inaccessible and then deleted entirely. So I'm really really scared of posting more detailed stuff again.

 

If anyone has requests for things they need mirrored from uptobox let me know. If you're in the US you can access the site via VPN (I use Mullvad to France) and pay for a premium account (using a USA visa card) but this is really not convenient for a lot of people.

Edit config_common.json in the Package folder, find the credit item, there is a freeplay value in the config below it (as shown in the figure, if not, please add it manually), change it to true, save and start the gameimage.png.264fceab0f03a4fef97bc200f83ccdaf.png

got maimai finale running, but for some reason it runs extremely slow and laggy (i have decent specs of ryzen 7 5800h cpu and radeon rx 6600m gpu), everything seems to work but the framerate is just very low, any pointers? i did make it use the dedicated gpu already and it still lags. attached is a video showing the low framerate

If it lags or bottleneck you might want to check storage. Is the game stored in SSD or HDD. If HDD make sure there are some available space same goes to SSD as well.

Check whether or not if CPU , GPU driver is installed. Check if there are other programs that uses up resources.

Set Systemconfig.txt and Groovemaster.ini to unintended hardware setting.

If all fails then I have got no clue. You can try formatting your pc but that would require some work.

is there anything other i should set the config files to? the only thing i changed was running the window at a low resolution (which didnt help)

1.Download "b20220407-B" (the latest release) in releases page

2.unzip it and copy the patch inside to your game file.

3.start the game, then open "inject.bat" that copied from the release.

After all, you should see a cheat window inside the game. Then turn on "legit autoplay".

(There are many features, but i didnt try them out.)

I am version 1.35, and adding [MusicSelectTime=65535] under mai2.ini still has no effect.

Check if you add this setting under [Debug], if you dont put this in correct section then it wont work

i downloaded maimai (CN) DX 2023 (SDGB 1.30.00).tar and SDEZ 1.30 maimai Festival segatools (+clean tools) and when i try to start the game with "SDEZ 1.30 maimai Festival segatools", i get this error and the game doesnt start:

when i try to start it with "SDEZ 1.30 (CLEAN TOOLS)", i get the same error, but the game opens and just shows this:

im probably missing steps or doing something wrong, but i cant find any solution for this. anyone know what im missing?

Check your error message. it said you are missing "ThincaPayment.dll", then just copy it from SDEZ 1.30.

Because there is no segatools for SDGB now, so you have to download SDEZ 1.30 as a supported version too.

I believe in systemconfig you can adjust your resolution, or in temporaryconfiggame

i dont see ThincaPayment.dll anywhere in the game or segatools folder. where do I find/download it? also what do you mean by downloading it as a supported version?

2.uhh...because sdez 1.30 got its own segatools now...so thats why i said "as a supported version".

And check out previous pages, you can see how to run sdgb 1.30.

If you still want to go through with 舞萌DX, you just have to copy the "appdata" folder from Festival to 舞萌DX. This will let you bypass the ”基....“ (IDK) thing. The appdata folder actually save the settings for the TEST (BIOS/UEFI?), so if you already turn off the 基... thing in Festival you can copy the settings from Festival to 舞萌DX and it will actually read the setting and bypass it.

almost have got Festival booting, but it gets stuck on this last step of the bootup where it just continues blinking "check" on the line called "acquire settings from reference unit" (google translate).

dentify why this is happening, there is some option in game settings for "group standard machine settings" being assigned to the option called "reference cab", though there doesn't seem to be a way to disable or change this option, so anyone know what to do here?

They are from a "sdez 1.35" file. This file is kinda weird. So i copied some files inside it and made these 2 files.

 

After checking, this "sdez 1.35" is still using 1.30 core... but there are some new songs and features, not bad.

There is a error song in this version. And the song id is 323. You can replace it with the files in 1.30.

Fun fact: the difference between this version and 1.35 is just the song loading screen (for what you can see)

Does the "SDEX 1.35" you obtained has songs from id 11452 to 11525? If it does, can you share it here? I cannot download from baidu disk.

hmmm just remove files in AssetBundleImages and it just works. (adding 1.35 AssetBundleImages data in A000 can make song icons show, but maybe conflict with the omnimix)

@LoaderTime When I just tried launching the game with the F092 omnimix in option folder, the game crashes when entering the song selection screen...

In that case, do I just need to delete the AssetBundleImages folder entirely and would the omnimix work perfectly?

Please follow the instructions in README.txt.

the error only appears when the game didnt read correct data, and the only way to solve this is getting correct files. For this, the solution is copying the full AssetBundleImages from 1.35 into A000 to make it work. but this will cause F090 omnimix icons disappear, this is where the conflict come from.

I have a problem, There is something wrong with the touching input, when I place two fingers on screen, one of it on game was invalid, I have to place one finger first , and then the other one,which can make two finger valid.My screen is absolutely support for multi-touch, it also work on other app, only Sinmai.exe has this problem. here's the video
