Guys, I don't want to sound like a fool, but can you help me with which key to enter the Pacman Battle Royale test mode and how to put credit in it?

I appreciate all your help.

Edit: I haven't given you credit yet, but I saw that holding L1 activates the test mode. Testing the game the only flaw I see is the audio, it's a bit delayed but at least it's better to listen to it cut into parts

You can also play with another player but with 4 players it seems that play! does not support it. Since I don't see so pad3 and a pad4 in the settings.

You need to redownload game from here and then run chdman with CUE-GDI-ISO to CHD bat

Replace old file in arcaderoms folder with the new one and it should work (Make sure that you have the same name)

Are there steps on how to use this? Do I put in the same folder? Could you explain a little or point me to the way?

Sure, no worries.

1. Download NM00027 DB1 (DVD-ROM).iso.gz from NM00027 Super Dragon Ball Z. and extract the content.

2. Download Chdman and extract to folder.

3. Put NM00027 DB1 (DVD-ROM).iso inside Chdman folder and run CUE-GDI-ISO to CHD bat, if all good you will see percentage of conversion to .chd and new file in the same folder

4. Rename NM00027 DB1 (DVD-ROM).chd to db1.chd and put inside your arcaderoms/superdbz folder, you will need to either overwrite old one or delete before moving.

4 Run the game

this is the autohotkey script I use for rotating monitor orientation.  you can change the hotkeys (set to use 1-4 currently) for rotate to whatever you wish.

1::ChangeScreenOrientation(0)
2::ChangeScreenOrientation(90)
3::ChangeScreenOrientation(180)
4::ChangeScreenOrientation(270)

ChangeScreenOrientation(Orientation := 'Landscape') {
    static DMDO_DEFAULT := 0, DMDO_90 := 1, DMDO_180 := 2, DMDO_270 := 3
         , DEVMODE := '', dimension1 := 0, dimension2 := 0, dmSize := 220
    if !DEVMODE {
        NumPut('Short', dmSize, DEVMODE := Buffer(dmSize, 0), 68)
        DllCall('EnumDisplaySettings', 'Ptr', 0, 'Int', -1, 'Ptr', DEVMODE)
        n0 := NumGet(DEVMODE, 172, 'UInt')
        n1 := NumGet(DEVMODE, 176, 'UInt')
        Loop 2 {
            dimension%A_Index% := n%(n0 > n1) ^ (A_Index = 1)%
                                | n%(n0 < n1) ^ (A_Index = 1)% << 32
        }
    }
    switch Orientation, false {
        case 'Landscape'          ,   0: i := 1, orientation := DMDO_DEFAULT
        case 'Portrait'           ,  90: i := 2, orientation := DMDO_90
        case 'Landscape (flipped)', 180: i := 1, orientation := DMDO_180
        case 'Portrait (flipped)' , 270: i := 2, orientation := DMDO_270
        default:                         i := 1, orientation := DMDO_DEFAULT
    }
    NumPut('Int'  , orientation , DEVMODE,  84)
    NumPut('Int64', dimension%i%, DEVMODE, 172)

I know absolutely nothing at all about this play emulator. Is there a list of games it supports before I start messing with it?

If you download the latest version you'll get files known as .arcadedefs. As for playable games there are a good amount, but you need a powerful CPU to run the games (probably a 13th gen i9 (5.6GHZ ) or later for some of the games, but others you can get away with a (4.6-4.8 GHZ)

Games that you don't need the 13th gen CPU

Any 2D game

Bloody Roar 3

Pride GP

Any Gundam game

Wangan Midnight

Moto GP (almost reaches 60 FPS)

Fate: Unlimited Codes (close to 60FPS)

Kinnikuman Muscle GP (close to 60 FPS)

Tekken 4? (tough to say, but it's a playable experience)

Vampire Night?

Games that require the 13th gen i9

Any Soul Calibur game

Tekken 5

Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection

Zoids Infinity (requires the Play ATA build) (might work on a lower end CPU)

Battle Gear 3 (requires the Play ATA build)

Ace Driver 3

Time Crisis 3

Super DBZ

Game that doesn't run at full speed on any CPU as far as I know

Time Crisis 4

Unplayable games

The Idolm@ster (requires a special internet connection?)

Ridge Racer V Arcade Stage (PS2 version works on Play!) (Arcade version missing sound, and controls aren't hooked up yet)

Smash Course Pro Tennis

Pro Yakyuu

i don't think you need pc from NASA to run 20 years old games

maybe play emulators devs need new gen skills, maybe

Play! will eventually be optimized, and HOPEFULLY MAME will start passing polygons through your GPU & use more than one CPU core
