I bought a 256 and tried the compatibility feature, but neither BG3 nor BG3Tuned worked.
BG3 stopped at the TAITO logo, BG3Tuned was a rack error.

BG3Tuned unlock information cannot be released because there is still an issue where the data disappears the next day.

This game can also develop a 16:9 widescreen function.

I also hope you can help me find out how to unlock all the characters in this game. I can unlock all the characters in other versions, but not in this game, even though the dongle is paired correctly.

As you can see, you can run it after updating the simulator, and Taiko no Tatsujin 7 can also run it.

There are several games that the emulator currently does not support control, such as Ridge Racer, Zoids Infinity, and The Idolmaster.

Zoids Infinity needs a specific branch and must be set in freeplay. Idolmaster requires offline mode

The game he's talking about is different from ours.

The minimum number here is 1, which should be the commission of the game manufacturer.

Zoids Infinity can be set to free.

If you enter test mode and play free, it will work up to the select screen.  

I would like a dongle that can avoid BG3Tuned's rack error.

Does BG3 English version select HDD? Since it seems like it is, I think it would be better to prepare a patch to remove the handle check in the Japanese version.

(The Japanese version will boot with an English HDD, but the reverse will not work.)

Indeed, I don't know how to bypass the red text and can't start the test mode

Test mode cannot be executed unless the handle check is passed, and currently only the English version of BG3 is valid.

How do I identify the English and Japanese versions? I tried to test the switch and found that one has a large font and the other has a smaller font. Is the large font the English version?

Yes.

I don't know how to post replies on this board :)
BG3T will not be able to go into test mode unless passing patches for rack and handle errors are received.
Currently, only the English version of BG3 (v2.01A) has a handle patch.
When the TAITO logo appears, the test button will be enabled.

 

The English version of BG3 was recently made compatible with M.A.M.E. Emu.
Since the compression option for CHD is set to CD, it is necessary to recreate it with an HDD.

chdman extractcd -i batlgr3.chd -o batlgr3.img

 

:rename
ren batlgr3.bin batlgr3a.img

 

:img to chd
chdman createhd -i batlgr3a.img -o batlgr3a.chd

 

It has been confirmed that batlgr3a.img(batlgr3.bin)  unzipped with extractcd will work with s246c PCB.
(HDDimg extracted with the extracthd option contains unnecessary garbage and will not work.)

I tried with latest build of play with the zip into arcaderom folder but I have an error and the game not launch (tried only pac man battle royale)

 

Failed to find pbr102-2-na-mpro-a13_kp006b.ic26 in game directory

Hum, still have a problem , I create into arcaderoms folder "pacmanbr" and I copy into it the 2 files contained into the zip file, I have a latest stable verof play (lasted nightly are not accessible on pure.ei website) and when I launchi have a code error failed to find.....
