Alright at this point i have no idea anymore. Because i cant even boot the game at all on my desktop anyway due to the nvidia issue that i mentioned before and therefore have no way of testing it without using a different computer. Could you perhaps upload the japanese that you have. Because if the one i have is a bad dump then i want to make sure. because i got my data from an old ddr x forum here that was deleted for some reason.

For me it worked on my NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, however the arrows were screwed, like all DDR games prior to Ace have the same problem. It does not impair the gameplay in any way, but it just looks weird. I should try it on my laptop which has an AMD graphics card in it.

i uninstalled my graphics driver and managed to get the game working but it's pointless considering that the game is laggy, doesn't do full screen properly so im forced to use windowed mode and lastly HD mode doesn't work properly as the game window only covers the corner of the screen forcing me to use SD mode. at this point i give up on trying to get it working with my nvidia gpu because the game is very picky for whatever reason. and even though it works for some people it doesn't necessarily mean it works for everyone.

Can u put install instructions here because the file structure i have has update folders and 1 ddr folder its weird

I got it too from the same forum that was deleted. Now i cant remember how to get it working again.

 

For the record, i cant bind anything so it's just the demo.

Has anyone had any luck running this on real hardware? No matter what I try throwing into the startup script the game doesn't get past 8/16 startup check. I've got it running properly on a VM oddly enough, but my Bemani PC just doesn't like it. If anyone has the equipment or know how to test that'd be great.

 

EDIT: Somewhat of an update, it seems like the game likes to start when I don't inject the ddrhook1.dll into ddr.exe, but then I get a security bad error. So whatever is in the ddrhook1.dll makes the game bypass the security check, but also seems to make the game crash on real hardware. I don't know if this release was just an un-htpec or a proper crack, probably just an unpack. So TLDR, this won't work on my setup. If anyone knows who released this please let me know, I don't have access to my sows account at the moment to check.

What's the difference between the JP updated torrent file to the JP one posted here years ago around 2019? i copied the 5.42 bemanitools in the ddr folder but still isn't working. (i'm using the old DDR X JP; i can't download the one in the torrent right now)

Japanese Version install that worked for me

 

1. Download ddu

2. Boot install safe mode run ddu

3.uninstall both nvidia and amd if uve swapped and choose the option were it doesnt restart

4. Restart

5. do a clean install of graphics drivers not the express

6. Copy the bemani-tools 5.42 in to the ddr2 directory.

7. Edit the ddr-11 or ddr-11 us "conf file" i changed stadard cabinet mode to True and Window Mode to true within the Conf file save and test..

It because the new one has the Data file in it the old one did not have a data in it

O ya the Conf Flie you can have a Netwerk to it I tried different networks but it never got online

I havent downloaded it yet but in the nyaa website, the files look similar to the old ddr x jp way back 2019.

 

I cant download it right now but just a question. Where is the ddr2 folder? There's just ddr in the nyaa link when you open the hdx folder.

I used the American version it has the Japanese version in it

It’s the same just change SD Mode from  truth to false

DDr 11 is what u need from bemani-tools ull place that into the dd2 folder and used be using ddr-11.bat for japanese version and if ur using american version use be using "ddr-11 us"

someone reported to me that this game was giving them black lines within the arrows anyone have an issue with that.? (Edit! Fixed walked em through upgrading gpu)

is direct x and all that installed? also what kinda graphics card do you have? 

make sure all ur drivers and stuff are updated also graphics cards drivers sometimes checking ur fans to see if they're dusty can cause system slow downs lol
