I tried Dolphin_Triforce_v2.7z as you suggested and worked great, much better than the version I was using!

 

I don´t know the reason for the errors, but your version shows no error messages, it´s like magic ! 😀

Alright I finally have tried this on Windows 10, GTX 980 and a 12900k, but the framerate does not go above 35fps, gpu and cpu seemed very fine, so it seems an internal problem but I cannot find what it is since I used the same config that brodostar used in his youtube video. FPS would be same 30-35 with both heavy scene and even with a single GK on screen.

Checking skip access and disabling internet didn't help.

Glad to see that I am not alone. I was almost going nuts and suspect my own rig, GPU or windows installation being faulty.

 

Hopefully there will be a solution for this soon. Wish I knew how to debug

Alright, I don't know how yet, but this exe included here seems to work at full-speed as intended. I also used 3x res and it was fine. Just lighting is baked and nauseating but I guess that was the trick.

Tried with VS4 so far.

my win10 pc with 12gb mem, 8 threads xeon e5-2678 v3 and nvidia p5000 16gb should be powerful enough. got a good collection of post-retro arcade games on here. all emu's work well after getting the configs right. not sure what could be wrong with dolphin-brodo config though since it is pretty straight forward.

 

This emulator does not seem to like E5 xeons for some reason, I have 2 of them with high clock speeds and core counts, with exactly the same behavour as you, I know the game works because I was able to get it running on, believe it or not, my friends i3 with a lowish spec graphics card, can't remember the exact model now to be honest but it was only 2gb vram. I couldn't get to the bottom of the problem at all but could you please let me know if you find out how to get it to run?

hello...it's good that we have playable versions of vs4. To complete the virtua striker saga of the triforce plate, the only thing missing is to add or make playable the 2002 Japanese version of virtua striker (korea-japan ball) and the Japanese version of virtua striker 4 (adidas pelias ball). The Japanese vs4 version does not load and the Japanese vs2002 does not load either (it always loads the export version even though the iso is the correct one for Japan). Hey I got vs4 to run soon after and what worked for me was (besides making sure i had the right rom) first installing the -x64-Installer.exe version and subsequently using the provided portable version -x64-portable version instead. It was probably related to the installed version not being able to find it's configuration files for some reason on my rig. Hope you figure it out cause the xeons should have no problem running the game.

Did they ever improve Virtua Striker? It's one of the worst football games ever for playability. I would take Kick and Run over the ones I played on supermodel.

Perhaps for nostalgia and preservation it would be nice getting them running though.

When starting a game Dolphin opens up and show system specifications in yellow, path to iso and in the last line Dolphin D3D Video Backend. But then nothing happens 😞

i got the virtua striker 4 & ver 2006 running but it seems there is no sound anybody knows what the issue is?

Firstly, just wanted to say great work on getting VS4 up and running. I have an issue running VS 2002 where there is no input from the left stick. However, the right shoulder button is mapped to "up". I'm using an xbox series pad and the controls work perfectly on VS4. Has anyone else encountered this and have a solution?

This is a custom Dolphin Triforce build based off of v4.0-310 (latest update from @crediar ~8 years ago).

The latest version of Dolphin Triforce technically already emulates VS4, but what’s preventing it from running is the Media board boot/firm version check at boot, and the incorrect input mapping for the game (VS4 is the only game in the franchise with analog lever input).

 

I spent a while playing with the Dolphin Debugger + Ghidra to find the instruction to patch for the boot/firm check and learning the JVS spec to add support for analog lever input for VS4.  

I also included all the patches for configuring all the game settings, including disabling the network/card in-game 

features (to remove the network/card unavailable icons at the bottom of the screen).

is there anyway to use the new version of triforce dolphin and make the directional movement work? becasue although it is our best option now, its still really buggy, like the ball on players shoulders

honestly play the supermodel versions, in many ways they are better games, for me graphically not really that inferior, but also no bugs, i have been for 3 days trying to improve this VS3 game but they are really buggy. https://youtu.be/OgPMXjYVKJo

Hello! I was impressed with this video above, I didn't know it was possible to perform these skills. I found out how to do the feint movement (forgive me if it's not the correct name of the dribble, I'm Brazilian, I'm using a translator) to do the movement just press long pass and quickly short pass, this is similar to winning eleven (PES), it's interesting to perform in different directions and in opposite movements. but I couldn't figure out how to execute the over-the-ball spin and cross foot pass, does anyone know?

I played on an old asus notebook, i5, geforce 940m, 8gb ram and on a new notebook acer nitro 5, i5, gtx 1650, 32gb ram, there was no big difference in performance, both worked fine.

Last year I’ve bought a new gaming pc, i7, 16gb ram nividia get force 3500… My pc has the components for a propper emulation but unfortunately during the game there’re massive slowdowns. There are so many emulations of newer arcade games in a high quality and Virtua striker 4 was released between 2000-2005. I think the dolphin emulator isn’t stable enough…

Hello Thank you very much Brodostar and everyone for the amazing efforts. I have VStriker4 and VStriker4 2006 running a bit slow and with lot of breaks and discontinuance from the Second Match and Third one. I tried so many differents configs but didn't manage to resolve it.

I have a very high specs computer, couldn't be it. Anyone that had same issues and would help me? Also is there someone that is still working on these Dolphine/Triforce - Virtua Striker, trying to make it more stable or adapting it to newDolphin?

Get the new Crediar Dolphin for Triforce, don't use any of the old builds or patches. Start fresh with a standalone install. All the info an links are in that thread.

I got the last Crediar Dolphin version, the one 15-03-2023, but after installed it(portable) and set the Vstrikers directory I don't know what to do, launching the games I have a little black screen and white frame around. In the Brodostar everything was already set, only some graphical configs maybe to change, now don't know what to do. In this thread there are lot of comments, don't know where to start. Hope you can help me Thank you !

When I try to play VS4 I am stuck for minutes to a black screen with the message "WAITING SYSTEM NOW"
