Anyone know why my track list is all messed up like this and also the sound is very buggy. Tried to patch chunsanapp.exe but using the patched version makes the game stop loading when running start.bat

Hello I'm stuck with same problem and changing config_client.json doesn't solve the problem. (Chunithm New plus works totally fine. I have problem with Chunithm Sun)

I also use https://patcher.turksigara.net/chusun.html chunithm sun patcher, check Patch for head-to-head play.

If anyone have solution for this problem please share it.

Thanks and have a good day!

You need to turn off Cab to Cab play in the Setup

Get into the service menu, then go into game settings, set your cab type to 'server' and not 'client' or 'follow'.

Did you download the correct files? Generally this happens if you use the still encrypted stuff, or if you attempted to combine files from different versions of the game into the same folder.

I'm running into an issue after setting up the game exactly as the guide on page 29 describes.
When I go to log in with AMIE, it loads for a second and gives me "The data is an older version."
I checked and the game is running 2.00.01 and A202 (which I'm assuming my my latest option) is 2.00.05.
I'm not sure if I need a different set of ICFs to get my specific version running but I just can't log in with AMIE.
Aside from being able to log in, save my progress and all the other things that come with having AMIE, the game runs just fine with no errors.
I have my aqua (0.0.44) properties set and will include a screenshot in this post.
As far as I know, everything is set up correctly based on going over the guide on page 29 but according to this error, the guide is saying that the versions I have entered are wrong.
Please advise. Thank you.

Im not sure if this is the only solution but this is what worked for me:
-Installed CFW on my Tasoller already on 2.0
-Replaced the .dll files with the ones downloaded from the first page of this thread, setup segatools to recognize the DLLs
-The LEDs don't work as of now, but the touch, pressure and air should work as normal, LED will stay rainbow

So having just 2.0 isn't fine I need CFW? Or can I not just get it to work like it did with paradise. Like having all 32 inputs working. Cause it's weird that it only like partly works atm so unless I just need change the DLL files????

I added the custom drivers from the first page, and point segatools towards the DLLs which it should already be doing from the custom segatools in that pack, but i also use slidershim on brokenithm mode and I haven't had any issues with making the tasoller working, then you can switch it back to a different driver mode if you wanna use the tasoller for something else (like paradise)

Now cause my controller is supposedly 2.0 (it was made like 2 months after that period where they changed to 2.0), that means I don't need to flash it? I just install a new driver through W10? Is that right?

The aqua/minime server doesn't handle LAN matching (apparently there might be global matching support coming in aqua?) . The client(s) broadcast on something like UDP port 50200 onto the network when the lobby is opened up, so you and your friends need to be in the same LAN, and everything should magically work. Either VPN that supports IP broadcasting (look into zerotier) or basically any packet forwarder can do that for you. Also ensure the firewall rules are OFF as Windows generally blocks ip broadcasts.

Basically whatever you got working for Paradise should work with SUN.

Thanks for the advice! I tried digging into it more, comparing it to what happens when I run Paradise, and I was able to get a bit further.

Even though I set my [keychip] subnet to "192.168.123.0" in segatools, Wireshark showed me that Chunithm was always trying to broadcast to "192.168.139.255" (instead of "192.168.123.255")... I couldn't find what was causing this, so I decided to just change my whole network to "192.168.139.*" in the router, and I was able to finally get both machines past the loading. Now both the client and group leader show up as connected in group A, and are sending TCP packets back and forth. Huzzah!

The problem now is that neither one seems to actually recognize when the other has a song ready for matching. I double checked that matching is open to everyone (not friends-only) and both machines have matching enabled in their user settings, but the matching notification never shows up. Firewalls are off, and I can see different packets coming through over UDP broadcast when either machine has a song lobby open, but the games just don't react.

Going to continue investigating, but if anyone has run into something similar or has other tips on where to look, it would be much appreciated! Currently trying all sorts of setting modifications to see if something is getting in the way, but no luck yet. May try using ZeroTier as well, in case there's something wrong with my network setup (though it worked for Paradise Lost, so that doesn't seem right).

Correct. If you purchased yours after the listed date, it should already have the correct internal firmware. No need to flash. Just find the CFW 2.0 from this thread and install the custom 2.0 Host and LED drivers. It should set your tasollers to rainbow colors outside the game, switch to black once you open the game, and show the correct colors once it starts prompting you for inputs. If you get weird colors or buttons not working quite right, try installing it a second time, just to make sure it installed correctly.

If you're like me and got your tasollers before the cutoff date, you'll need to buy a cable and flash it according to this guide first: https://www.dj-dao.com/en/support/11.html . Once that's done, go find the CFW 2.0 files from this thread and apply the custom firmware on top. The cable I got was this one [ https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07R8BQYW1 ]--just note that the green and white wires were reversed for some reason. Once I swapped them, the flashing process worked fine. Just be very careful not to swap the red and black wires! Doing so can potentially damage the chip.

Hello, I am trying to set up the data for Chunithm New (2.00) and Chunithm New Plus (2.05).

When I use the segatools and aqua for chunithm new and new plus, The game loads fine but after the data loading screen, when the screen shows Aime 100, the game suddenly crashes.

I have no idea why this is happening. My computer can run old chunithm data and also Chunithm Sun well though, but having problem with these two versions only. Any ideas?

I also don't want to dig around in the thread for it, but I'll attach the zip file here.

  1. Disconnect both your "PC" and "Power" cables from the Tasoller.
  2. Run TASOLLER -> Firmware -> Update V1.1.exe and press "Connect."
    1. Hold FN2 while you plug in the "PC" cable on your Tasoller.
    2. Once connected, select "Open Files" and choose the Host_V2.bin file.
    3. Once this finishes, "Disconnect," close the program, and unplug your Tasoller.
  3. Reopen the Update program. Press "Connect" again.
    1. Hold FN1 and plug in the "PC" cable again.
    2. Once connected, select "Open Files" and choose the LED_V2.bin file this time.
    3. Once it finishes installing, disconnect and close the program.
  4. Unplug your Tasoller and plug in both cables without holding any buttons. If the controller goes rainbow, and responds to touch and air motions, everything should (hopefully) be good.

If you ever want to set your Tasoller back to the standard V2 firmware, you can use the firmware package from here [ https://www.dj-dao.com/en/support/11.html ] and follow the same steps.

As for your song fix, you can find various "option" files by digging around in the thread. They all have names like A###. So far, I've seen A041, A091, A092, A101, A114 (older songs from Chunithm Paradise Lost and earlier, though the audio quality is poor), A200, A920, AS01, AS02, and a fan-made A999. You put these into the option directory that you define in segatools.ini, and the game should load them up at startup. There's also ASAN and ASUN, which need their contents to be copied directly into your A000 folder (found at ".../app/data/A000/") for some stuff to work, I think.

That's strange, if you have the client and leader syncing fine on the same network, that should also indicate LAN matching is functional as well. Just a quick sanity check, but I assume both games are on the exact same version?

Do you hear a sound notification on the client when a lobby is opened on the leader?

Otherwise I'd take a peek at wireshark on the client, and confirm you see UDP packets coming from the leader on port 50200 and vice versa.

Also I doubt it matters but I have the id= field under [keychip] in my segatools.ini set among the rest of my clients. Not sure if it actually does anything w.r.t LAN matching though.

Under section [netenv] I have enable=1 and addrSuffix set uniquely per client, but since you're actually using a real environment, you probably shouldn't set those.

One more issue sorry.I can't seem to get the modified DLL file to work? I got wrong ones? Can you provide the files i need to make the custom firmware i've installed now, work on chu sun? The DLL files n such. Thanks

-Edit- I mean as in the custom driver stuff all worked, but now the next part is going from rainbow controller to working in chunithm controller. I tried a set of DLL Files supposedly was but it just made it crash sun. Ty

Bought a Tasoller with the latest firmwares, but having a hard time making it work with the game

Tried flashing to the custom firmware but didn't work. (LED is now rainbow and not using keyboard inputs)

Tried https://github.com/caxerx/chuniio_tasoller_new but Tasoller doesnt respond with inputs in the game

The game is still taking in keyboard inputs as I can still play the game if I disconnect the Tasoller and plug the cable back to my keyboard to control the game

Can anyone help?

I basically followed the guide written here (with the B option)

https://www.emuline.org/topic/2600-arcade-pc-chunithm-new-int-sun-s3g-alls/page/29/#comment-137133

Rom version is 2.0.5 which is Chuni New Plus!!

*Edit

Also if I try to use keyboard inputs

I get this error if I open the Controller Air Converter. exe

I have installed everything that there is to install.

segatools, options, event00000014, frankenstein, sdhd210, english patch, ASAN, ASUN, A920, AS01, AS02, compiled aqua server 0.0.45a, replaced the xml files inside the event files to add ultima, patched the ChusanApp.exe.

One of the only things I haven't done is patch the amdaemon.exe.
