Hi! I'm not sure if y'all can help or anything, but now I'm having trouble with the tasoller itself.  So I connect my tasoller and monitor and then play the game, everything is fine.  But then randomly, usually at the results screen of any track, the right half of my tasoller stops working and I have to plug it back in and out, resulting in me having to restart the game.  It has gotten so bad that I can't even get through one token without the right half of the tasoller not responding. Please help, I might have to go back to paradise lost again now, because new plus keeps giving me so many problems.

Ok..thats quite weird. have you tried to fresh install new plus?

I have, actually the version doing this error is a fresh install of my last version which gave me the unit index amdaemon error.  I can try doing that again but idk.  Maybe if sun becomes playable itll be fine there.

getAmfsDriveLetter: Line5526 Error: get amfs drive letter failed. error code is -9.

anyone know how to fix

Your segatools.ini path for amfs drive might be incorrect? go to the amfs folder and directly copy what path is above in the folder.  If you've already done this then I'm very sorry, but I don't know how else I can help.

Try putting all files on drive C..this was my problem the first time installing Chunithm where I got UnitIndex out of range.
I think the in-depth tutorial was mention that putting on Drive letter C solve some of the problem.

Try this and let us know the outcome of it.

It seems the Chinese already have sun

this definitely doesn't look like Chunithm Sun. The song select and the end score screen are identical to Chunithm New/New+ with the yellow backgrounds.

The video might be titled incorrectly.

Hi!  Originally I asked about half of my tasoller randomly not working while playing chunithm and after re installing the firmware it was ok. But now it's back again and I am seriously so done with all the problems I've had with new.  I don't know what it is, but I get error 6401 after the IP GOOD and all the other things, and can bypass that but suddenly the right half of the tasoller always stops working and I can't get to the main page.  If it helps i'm also getting an "error 0" although that might be because I unplug and replug the tasoller after it stops working.

EDIT: Update, so i know what's causing it but not the exact problem.  I tried using the tasoller but not my monitor and they game works fine, I don't even get that ERROR 6401 message at all.  But when I plug back in my monitor it doesn't work again.  Not sure what it is but I kind of need to use my monitor to play lol, so please help if you know.

Using USB 3 for the tasoller and the monitor ?

Too low current / voltage for all of them at once ?

Try the monitor on a different USB connection, or get a PCIe USB3 card which works with the tasoller and connect it over that card.

So my monitor is connected via a Display port to USB C 4 cable (But the port it's plugged into is a USB C 3), and my tasoller is plugged into a USB A 3 port.  Tasoller is on usb A, while monitor is on usb c.  I don't know if I still need to get a PCLe USB3 card but it might help, so thanks

i'm pretty sure you cant fix this, have you just tried hitting where "next" is on your tasoller or brokenithm?

Hi, bit of a beginner and got a new Tasoller but have been running to issues I saw earlier with CFW.

I have an AMD CPU and did the TASOLLER_HOST_customize_FW_AMD_20210920.bin and I say NYA-O work already and now my Tasoller no longer does keyboard inputs and has the rainbow lights as intended.

However while the game worked fine before with keyboard, I run into the similar issue below when changing my segatools.ini to use the tasoller dlls:

Logic exception occurred.
File: D:\Jenkins\workspace\amdaemon_all_build\libs\amdaemon\src\Aime.cpp
Line: 85
Function: const class amdaemon::AimeUnit &__thiscall amdaemon::Aime::getUnit(unsigned int) const
Message: `unitIndex` is out of range.
Stack:
[0x00000000004365eb] <unknown symbol> @ <unknown file>:C:\Users\Jeff\Desktop\Chunithm\app\bin\chusanApp.exe
[0x0000000000f6f6e5] boost::serialization::singleton<std::set<boost::serialization::void_cast_detail::void_caster const *,boost::serialization::void_cast_detail::void_caster_compare,std::allocator<boost::serialization::void_cast_detail::void_caster const *> > >::is_destroyed @ <unknown file>:C:\Users\Jeff\Desktop\Chunithm\app\bin\chusanApp.exe

Game processes have terminated

Currently everything is on my Desktop C Drive, but I've also tried another SSD and got the same result.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could you provide a copy of the segatools.ini when configured to use the TASOLLER?

For that error the chusanApp.exe output isn't helpful, the output of the amdaemon.exe window would be best.

Thanks, here's the .ini, I'm not sure how to get the output of amdaemon.exe though.

Everything looks correct there. The amdaemon.exe window is spawned before the main game but the default start.bat will kill it with the game so it might be getting closed then. You can remove the

taskkill /f /im amdaemon.exe > nul 2>&1

line from start.bat to keep it open and check the output.

I tried out your suggestion but unfortunately there were no changes in the output/result nor additional windows I could look at. This is the start.bat I ran in case anything's missing here too.

@echo off
cd /d %~dp0

start inject_x64.exe -d -k chusanhook_x64.dll amdaemon.exe -f -c config_common.json -c config_server.json -c config_client.json -c config_sp.json -c config_cvt.json
inject_x86.exe -d -k chusanhook_x86.dll chusanApp.exe

echo.
echo Game processes have terminated
pause

Seems that something is preventing the amdaemon.exe from starting. Maybe try hooks and injects?
