Mame full set ?

Hello,

J'ai longtemps utilisé MameUI par le passé... De très bon souvenirs.

Avec mon nouveau PC, j'avais cédé à la "facilité" de Retroarch, qui au final me prends la tête, parce qu'on passe plus de temps à configurer qu'à jouer.

 

J'ai récemment réinitialisé mon PC (avec sauvegardes etc) mais je compte revenir à MameUI.

Par contre, j'ai pas vraiment le temps et la volonté d'aller chercher les roms une par une... j'ai pas mal de place dispo, j'aimerais installer un fullset...

 

Est-ce que vous avez des liens directs pour ça ?

Si possible autre chose que des torrents.

Looks like you need a download manager for the latest listing on there.

Archive is confusing at the top it says 0.231.

It's usually easier going to download the lot on archive.

I will see if I can posy past some link into my downloader...

 

EDIT : nevermind, actually with a DL manager, it seems pretty easy.

liens en MEGA, et remis à jour avec des delta packs qui t'évitent de tout retéléchrger à chaque fois...

This is handy but be aware that if you are updating only from 0.233 to 0.234 for example.

Sharrier (Space Harrier) file I noticed was very small.

It contained the update only which I extracted and added to the roms zip file.

 

Don't just copy and paste.

You are much better going to the Pleasuredome tracker for Mame roms https://www.pleasuredome.org.uk guys, you need to join but it is free and is just the one torrent file rather than multiple rars, if you want to update you set, just download the full set to the same directory, giving the folder your zipped roms are in the same name as the one you are downloading and it will check your roms so that you only download what is needed, it is also always up to date, lots of seeders too so fast downloads.

This is a neat idea for standalone that I wish I had thought of before.  I'm using Retroach though plus I trimmed the junk files so only need to track a couple of actual working updated roms.

Just in case you ever need it in future that site has the videos and extra files there as well eg artwork, marques, gameplay videos for frontends etc, if you only need a few roms to finish of your set, try archive.org where you will be able to download them individually.
