I updated to 2022061300, but when I try to read the card I get an error "W:easrv: unknown URL: //M39:J:A:A:2022061300/cardmng/inquire".
I am using the latest version of both asphyxia-core and the plugin.
Can someone please let me know what I can do?

After consulting wiki I can safely say Im as confused as you are. The update adds *something* but Im unable to make any connection to the filenames as I can do with just the base files. However if I have to guess, it probably adds the unlockable songs from the last few events. They probably are not unlocked by default after the event finished (after a certain amount of time that is). You might want to try to patch unlock all songs:

You probably need intermediate update too: http://teknoparrot.link.free.fr/Liens/enattente/liens/Popnmusic26.html The latest one is too small to actually contain anything song data.

So I did the digging for you as I also wanted to update.

 

1.Download the intermediate update from edit 1. Unzip, replace files.

2. Download the latest update from the discord link, unzip, replace files.

3. Take the popn22.dll from the MODULES folder (not the one thats in the root directory!!!!! IMPORTANT) and patch it here https://elpis.fun/gamepatcher/popn26kaimeiriddles.html with UNLOCK ALL SONGS and other patches you might want. and download the patched file. THE PATCHER SHOULD SHOW YOU  [2022-06-13 14 of 14 patches matched (100%)] if it shows something else you did it wrong.

4. replace the popn22.dll in the ROOT of the game files (where spice.exe lives) with the patched file.

5. Enjoy.

 

Its convoluted but it for whatever reason works like this. Also my English patch now works only partially. But all main gameplay related text should still be translated.

After I replaced the files on popn@asphyxia in plugins folder, when I type my password, the game return to the KONAMI red screen.

Also in Asphyxia Core window appears this message.

Updated from Kaimei Riddles (2022061300) to UniLab & can start the game up OK.   However, the version of Asphyxia-core and/or Plugin that I was using for Kaimei Riddles don't seem to work anymore for UniLab.   Anyone know if there's updated versions of Asphyxia/Plugin out there that work for UniLab?

Checking in again to see if anyone knows of a version of Asphyxia-core and/or Plugin that is working for UniLab.   The versions which were working for Kaimei Riddles don't seem to be working for UniLab from my attempts so far.

Oops, i made it a long time ago and forgot to publicly release it, it seems. And then 1CC and EmuLine got down.

Use this with UniLab ONLY. Everything else works as expected, including new options. Didn't bother to propperly edit and structure everything as we don't have anything else aside from initial release.

This is a rhythm game like osu!mania, with nine 100mm dome buttons.

Before opening the game:

• Right click the volume icon > Sounds > Click on the Default Device > Properties > Advanced > 2 channel, 16 bit, 44100 Hz
• Open spicecfg.exe, set your buttons, go to “Cards” then click “Generate”.

To play the game and save scores:

• Open asphyxia-core-x86.exe then spice.exe
• Press + on the numpad to insert your card

 

If your system has problems running the asphyxia x86 version, you can replace it with the x64 version.

 

The following is the song unlocking information, I haven't seen the patch for 26 yet

 

• All of the remaining songs from the pop'n time trip (ポップンタイムトリップ) event, with the exceptions of zeeros and 真超深ＴＩＯＮ UPPER, were unlocked by default on December 24th, 2020.
  • zeeros and 真超深ＴＩＯＮ UPPER were unlocked later on March 3rd, 2021.
• On March 11th, 2021, songs from the pop'n Tourist, pop'n hiden ninpouchou, pop'n Walker, and Waku-waku Mimi Nyami tankentai unlocks of the pop'n event archive (ポップンイベントアーカイブ) were unlocked by default.
  • On April 28th, 2021, songs from the Soreyuke! pop'n quest, EXTRA, Waku-waku pop'n land, and Fever senshi pop'n 14 unlocks were unlocked by default.

Is this an Omnimix? I have it working and I feel like there are songs in here that are not part of Pop'n 26 Kaimei.  I'm trying to figure out why my upgrade from this to Unilabs is crashing when scrolling through songs (red text "Error Code : 5-1509-0000" .  Could it be because I need to update a vanilla copy of Kaimei or is something else going on here?  The Kaimei one works flawlessly other than seemly sped up which might be a Vsync issue on my end.  but it works without any crashing.

Update Kaimei Riddles to version 2022061300 to apply the Unilab 2022091300 delta, otherwise you'll be missing data. Was that so hard to understand?

Thanks. and yes, it was when you didn't say it. lol  Is there a resource where you just read about such things.  I came from the Bemaniso community and everything is different but equally tight lipped and confusing and really much worse for not helping.  I always feel like I'm bother people but if there is a place I can go and just read about all this and not bother people I would.  I just have never found this place where it is documented what is going on with spice, pop'n version updates, how card simulation and scoring storage works, or server emulation nd what is going on exactly with that. etc.    I would love to do the work to be in the know about all the versions and nuances.
