Having set this up on a bunch of different PCs now, Resident is... REALLY fiddly to get right I've found. A lot of the the time the game will drop frames and cause the music/vocals to go out of sync

Can't recommend this guide enough when it comes to troubleshooting, goes through basically everything. Guide is originally meant for infinitas but most of it still applies to AC Data.
Figured I'd drop it here in case anyone else is going through similar issues since it helped immensely

If you're trying to boot the game on Linux using WINE then you're on your own.... it's not going to work very well, many people have tried.

come to accept it at this point, currently reinstalling Windows.

crashes in avs2-ea3 usually means your server is bad, maybe bad asphyxia plugin? why don't you try with -ea option, no asphyxia, and see if it boots, then you know it's asphyxia

tried with -ea instead of asphyxia but still getting the same errors, not sure what else could it be.

Is it normal to still get the "W:servurl: bad services host(localhost)" when using -ea? 🤔

audio is failing to initialize, since you want shared mode, make sure you have it set to 44.1khz

I successfully boot the game(LDJ-003-2022082400) in TDJ mode, and everything goes well except the refresh rate.

I turned on V sync, and the game locked at 60fps for some reason. When I unplug the sub monitor and reboot, it will go back to 120Hz and run perfectly. Both monitors are 144Hz monitors, but neither of them is a touch screen.

 

I think the problem is the NVIDIA V-sync option made the game sync to the monitor with a lower refresh rate because the sub monitor isn't a touch screen. Does anyone have similar issues?

in NVIDIA control panel make sure vsync settings are set to "Application Controlled", and not "on" or "off. Setting it to "application controlled" is the best way to make the main screen 120 and sub screen 60  (make sure gsync is off of course, and don't set FPS limiter either, just let the game do it)... touch screen or not doesn't matter, that has no effect on display whatsoever, don't worry about that.

To make omni songs work. . .

Anyone used this to log in your player card?

 

Offline mode works great.  New songs work normally without issues.

However, when I log in and enter the password, it says Connection error.

Could someone please link or attach   which version of  Asphyxia and  IIDX Plugin  they are using for proper e-Amusement functionality  with  the  2023040400   release of IIDX Resident ?    The versions of Asphyxia & Plugin  where were working for me on the previous builds no longer work after I updated to 2023040400 .    The OP has links to multiple versions of asphyxia/plugin (which look like older versions)  which I've tried without success.   Thanks in advance.

Many USB-connected keyboards only support up to 6 inputs at the same time.

If you pressed "Naive" button in spicecfg to map keys, try again by using "Bind" button instead.

 

If that still doesn't work, then it's your keyboard.

Can't get LDJ-2022103100 (resident) to launch. Log is attached.  Using exact same config in spice on bistrover and it runs fine.  The game opens to a white screen then instantly cuts out to black and returns to desktop after a few seconds.  My computer is a MacBook Pro and it only has 48000khz so I am using asio4all, if that matters.

i download all microsfot visual  ( i can play in 20221030  and sdvx normally)

 

full log would be more helpful, but make sure you don't have duplicate files (for example, don't have bm2dx.in contents and also in modules) - common mistake when downloading many patches from emuline since they can have different locations

if your macbook only supports 48khz, you have to route it through ASIO, but you forgot to set -iidxsounddevice option to asio, and -iidxasio to ASIO4ALL.

 

That being said, you're not going to have a good experience playing the game if you force audio upsampling from 44.1khz to 48khz, your game will frequently be out of sync.

how can i lock 120 fps in iidx? i lock in on nvidia still not work 

 

did you do the right 120fps patches?

Can't recommend this guide enough when it comes to troubleshooting, goes through basically everything. Guide is originally meant for infinitas but most of it still applies to AC Data.
Figured I'd drop it here in case anyone else is going through similar issues since it helped immensely
