Still playing around with Resident but getting frequently this error and I do not know what to do

Running Windows10, nvidia 1080ti, latest Asphexia and plug-in (ready for Epolis).

the screen refreshrate is set at 60Hz in windows display settings

nvidia setting for this application is default except for Monitor-technology = fixed refresh

 

It does not matter if I run in windowed or full screen mode

Your ASIO4ALL does not seem to be working properly. Recommend uninstalling it & using FlexASIO instead, or just use WASAPI.

It's crashing on vpermd instruction. Seems like you have a really old processor (AMD FX 8320), which not supported.

Looks like is audio problem.

 

 

 

If I use original 0905 to play, it works fine. After upgrading to 1018. It sucks.

 

post full log.txt file, because what you showed is not really an error, so the problem must be somewhere else.

download latest spice2x beta. you also need to apply "force tdj" hex edit if you want TDJ.

go to your iidx@asphyxia folder in your plugins folder -> pug -> 31pccommon.pug then delete the line that says tourism_booster

Ever since updating to epolis I cant get changing note speed to work.

Whatever speed i adjust to it just shows the speed being changed but 

ingame note speed barely change.

 

Anyone have any idea to resolve this? Worked perfectly fine before the update.

Also the game note sync is really off. Can't seem to fix this sync issue.

Hi guys, I'm facing a problem after update from 0905 to 1018:

Checked Asphyxia plugin v1.4.4_a1, spice2x (2023-10-22), bm2dx.dll patched as 120FPS, Sound in 16bit 44100/48000/96000 Hz are all tested OK, 

Game startup, insert card, game mode select are all OK,

However, there will be frame dropped when scrolling music folders and gameplay start (120 -> 60)

I noticed there are 2 obvious lines which keeps repeated in the log file and I have no idea how can I solve it:

W:afp-sys: "XCd229cc000066" layer ID 0 is not layer ID.

W:afputils: CDirectX::SetRenderState          ??         blned = 63

SSE4.2 Fix isn't in the epolis patcher yet, would that fix the issue? Totally unfamiliar with cpu related things.

W means Warning, they're not actual errors.

Sounds like you didn't patch your game correctly if you want it to run at 120fps.

Probably not, the game now requires AVX2 in addition to SSE4.2, and I don't think it can be easily patched. Did you try "LDJ Decoder" hex dit?

I am getting a card in crash right before mode select, but it only happens if I don't delete the dev folder before each launch. It seems like the wrong coin/eacoin is getting cashed in nvram everytime I open the game. I've tried multiple things but it still keeps happening. It ONLY happens when carding in, actual network or local, both have same issue.

 

"F:ea3-eacoin: cmd_ea3_eacoin_query_price: /eacoin/lane_retry_1p: not found." is what it hangs and crashes on. Very confused. This line is in my actual eacoin file in the prop folder.

delete your dev folder, copy all the files in the default folder of your prop folder, and replace what's there in the prop folder.

Solution:

 

Edit iidx@asphyxia\pug\31pccommon.pug

Delete the last line (tourism_booster), save

Restart, and it should no longer crash.

Because the standard LDJ (60hz) was giving me a lot of troubles like synchronisation issues, music too fast and W:Vsync: Present DEVICEHUNG hr=0x88760874 errors and switched the video adapter for my card from 60hz to 120hz (my screen supports that luckily)

And I moved to TDJ mode (120Hz): now I do not have the sync and sound issue and -knock on wood- the W:Vsync: Present DEVICEHUNG hr=0x88760874 seems to be gone too.

- but in windowed mode I can not enter my pincode for the 'card'. PGup only pop-ups a red bar which i can close (no subscreen content)

- in full screen mode the pgup shows the overlay and I can enter my pincode

 

Now I want to go back to LDJ mode but then with 120hz, so I patched the dll for 120hz in 'Choose Custom LDJ Timing/Adapter FPS'.

But this mode still plays in 60hz (with all the sync/sound issues)

 

So the big question: what do I need to do to either

- run LDJ in 210Hz (either windowed or fullscreenmode)

- or run TDJ in windowed mode with subscreen showing the content to enter the pincode

For TDJ in a window you can try Enable Single Monitor Windowed Subscreen hex edit, and in spicecfg set "IIDX TDJ Subscreen Size" to fullscreen, and then press Page Up to bring up the subscreen in the main window, then use your mouse.

 

For LDJ 120hz window just makes sure to... Change the monitor refresh rate before launching the game, and disable GSync and FreeSync, In the patcher,

Force Custom Timing and Adapter Mode in LDJ (Experimental) -> enable
Choose Custom LDJ Timing/Adapter FPS -> pick 120
Choose Fullscreen Monitor Check FPS Target -> pick 120
Skip Monitor Check -> DO NOT ENABLE THIS!!
