Can't say much about it. Every revision have some real bangers and some really boring stuff. Its 50/50 for me.

With Jconfig, some say that is possible it may freeze, this is not he case because I can hear the sound when I press insert coin so something is going on in the background- this however does not happen on Teknoparrot

 

Try it again and don't press anything it makes a noise anyway I thought I was entering coins too but it just makes a noise. I think there's no input once the yellow screen of death comes up and it's froze. 

 

But that is interesting that it happens on Teknoparrot as well.

So, I got no yellow error (thankfully), but now the accel/brake doesn't work. Turning does work.

 

Now I'm stuck at the car select screen. Any ideas? BTW I'm using XBOX One S Controller (in wired mode, not wireless)

That's literally it! Thought I have to do some black magic to get that working.

 

Win 10 20H2, all works fine, and I have USB mouse and Controller connected.

 

EDIT : How do you limit framerate? My screen is 120Hz and thanks to that everything is moving twice as fast. RTSS framerate limit doesn't work

Does anyone else get crackling sound/music every now and then during gameplay? I tend to get it when rivals appear in cutscenes and on the "Winner" screen.

Those error have nothing to do with connected usb devices, like keyboard, mouse, audiocard, et cetera

People can "spam" the test menu button all they want, as long as the yellow screen is shown, the game will not allow to go into the test menu, so no go (translate the red text below)

 

The red text means:

You can not enter the test mode while checking the information.

 

One can enter the test menu a few moment later, if the game boots correctly, which is does not for some people

Are you using the correct game .exe, original for TP ?

JC has a included game.exe, specific for usage with JC !

Uh, the error actually says there is an error with the USB dongle plugged in... You can translate it and see for yourself. The number code specifically means there are multiple USB devices plugged in. While the issue can happen for various reasons, that is definitely a possibility.

Anyone else stuck on a white screen at boot? Cannot enter test menu on boot either. Using Jconfig on win 10. I tried the same dump on a second pc and all works well

Well, I got the frame limited by creating a custom resolution with CRU (Custom Resolution Utility). Manages to fix the speed up.

So for those who have this problem, maybe try that.

Tried to use HexEditor but can't find the specific address because everything was changing like how many KM you ran etc.

In WMMT5 EVERYTHING can be modified like aero parts and wings...

Dinput is keyboard right? That pic above just reminded me when I try to enter keyboard keys under Dinput it doesn't enter them and it usually does on other Jconfigs. If Xinput is causing the yellow box somehow I can use joytokey and map keyboard keys to my controller instead but again keyboard keys aren't working either. 

 

Edit: was able to enter keyboard keys dunno why I couldn't before but still same error. I'm always the lucky one to get errors like this that most people don't even get and there's no explanation.

You're assuming someone knows the answer and just doesn't want to give it to you but that may not be the case.

 

I also have a different problem and no ones been able to give an answer to fix it. Nothing I can do but wait.

Oh I don't have the same problem as you do I don't get the white screen it's black with the menu options in Japanese but after a few seconds a yellow box pops up and I can't enter test mode or do anything.
