I guess I give up for now. I redownloaded it, put it on C: drive, tried Windows 8 compatibility. Nothing works just yellow box and I can't enter test or service mode. 

 

Pretty sure it freezes for me on that yellow box, I can't even hit alt enter and escape causes my monitor to turn black I have to change the HDMI to another number then turn it back (laptop hooked up to Television). I have almost every other game on this site working.

I also had a 2 or 3 second black screen cutoff.
I solved with GPU scaling in NVIDIA settings

 

 

and for pass the yellow screen

I dont get a black screen until I hit escape after its stuck on the yellow box error.

 

 

This screen capture was with terminal mode but it's the same thing without terminal mode.  Unable to get past that yellow box.

I can't even get to that screen. When I hit whatever button I choose on my controller for test mode or service mode it does nothing. Most likely because the yellow screen is causing the game to freeze and it comes up immediately so I can't do anything.

are you in windows 10 ? try to update to latest version

 

execute the .exe as ADMIN

I have downloaded the correct version, used the j config and try to spam the test button before the e1901 yellow screen but cant get in to test menu? what am I doing wrong?? please help

Yes there is no other version AFAIK. It just came out today and it's todays date.

I have the same problem and haven't been able to fix it. I think it's frozen once that yellow box pops up and that's why there's no way to enter test menu or anything. I have tried everything. I thought it was me only because no one else seems to have that issue. 

 

The only thing that's in english is E1911 which I assume is Error 1911, but I have no idea what that means or why I'm getting it.

The red text means:

You can not enter the test mode while checking the information.

 

One can enter the test menu a few moment later, if the game boots correctly.
