The idz implementation is not even finished yet XD

You can probably see a lot of TO-DO comments littered all over the idz code.

Be patient, the idz protocol is quite a beast compared to all the other games (which only took me a day or 2 to implement).

I have updates to tell:

You no longer get error 6505, but after you enter your name the game stays for a while loading, then the network icon turns yellow, the game continues in offline mode, and your data doesn't save.

After you finish the game, the network icon turns back to green.

I hope you finish the idz api in e10s asap...

also i have a bunch of errors like

ReferenceError: crypto is not defined

and

ReferenceError: buf is not defined

i have bugs to announce:

when you select a gamemode the network icon turns yellow

after you finish the course you get 8304 twice then the icon turns green again and the card saves

game version is 1.31.00

steps to reproduce:
choose time attack after making an aime card

logs on e10s console:
pmmUPeF.png
(no errors occurred)

ver.2 worked with no problems tho

choosing legend of the street in ver.1 does not cause the error even if the mission is a time attack mission

ok so legend of the street works

How do you setup FFBn 2.11 I have the files in the IDZ package folder with start.bat and getting no force feedback on a G29.

I have the version from the VirusMans page.

Other games work fine.

Update: Got it working seems I had a couple of copies and was using the wrong one.

But FFB is very poppy for the g29 on all three settings.

I need help having same issue as the above person only black screen and buffering symbol.

I extracted the two 7zip files then installed choco and other stuff too. But, I never once got that error my direct 3d doesn't respond. I tried seeing the miniame installing preparing then after few minutes I think I closed it. Then copied Amfs file but, I don't exactly get what up one directory even means does it mean I have to put those two files in the root directory of the Initial D zero folder? Can someone tell me exactly where I am going wrong my graphics is Nvidia rtx 3050 Laptop. Though steps aren't mentioned do I have to download new sega tools folder and replace the old one even though I just downloaded TP just today.

Forget about TP

Use Minime and SegaTools directly

Install Minime, the first time you install it it will download a bunch of needed stuff

Configure segatools.ini correctly

You can find your network settings with ipconfig /all in a DOS box

I recommend to use a static IP address on your PC, so the settings in segatools.ini do not have to be changed when your PC IP address changes, which breaks it

https://pureinfotech.com/set-static-ip-address-windows-10/

Example your PC IP address is 192.168.1.67 then your DNS setting in segatools.ini will be 192.168.1.1

Do not forget to edit correct folder paths in segatools.ini

Do NOT use (sub) folder names with spaces and strange characters, just a simple folder name will suffice IDZERO for example

Remember, progress will not be correctly saved after stage 2 !

FYI this doesn't help disable v-sync. Using windowed mode should never v-sync, but for IDZ it does. The problem was that iwas using a 50Hz refresh rate. Which means the game won't go any faster than that no matter what options you set, even in windowed mode.

I did however find a solution. You can use SpecialK and set the Presentation Interval to 0 and then cap the frames to 60.0. Note that no other method of disabling v-sync worked for me with IDZ.

To do a local install of SpecialK for IDZ, you use the specialK64.dll file, copy it to the /IDZ/package directory, then rename to dinput8.dll. Then you run the game, then after it has loaded it creates a file called dinput8.ini. Close the game, edit the ini file, and you should be good to go next time the game opens.

NOTE that SpecialK might be seen as an injector hack by some online games, so i'm not sure if this would break any TP online play... if you aren't using Segatools, of course.

I followed the tutorial and I got this error, tried anything I can think of at this time.(swapping different segatools, change location of the game…etc),  amdaemon.exe log showed error code 0, which is a directX error as far as I know.

but I have maimai dx which also from Sega running just fine now. So i think that’s not related to directX this time.

also tried plugin.zip with no luck, and no notification from antivirus while extracting all the things.

Game that works for now:

Maimai( dx splash and splash+)

Initial D8 infinity(Tekno

Taiko no Tatsujin nijiiro(Tekno

do u guys have any idea what could go wrong?

That is correct 99.9% of the time. But in my case it's not quite correct. My display mode is 800x600@50i. This is because i'm using older 15kHz SD PVM's as arcade monitors for my driving setups. This mode will be seen as 50Hz by Windows. In this case, the settings are 0=vsync (at 50Hz, or 5/6 speed), 1=50Hz (again at 5/6 speed. It won't go above the refresh rate, must be coded that way. And setting windowed mode in the ini makes no difference), 2=30Hz (1/2 speed). I needed a way to truly unlock v-sync. Having tried multiple methods with no success, SpecialK did the trick, as described above. Using that you can unlock v-sync and then limit the frames to whatever you like, 60 being sensible :)

I could of course use a 640x480@60i mode and get 60Hz that way, but the game was designed for 1080p, and while it still looks fantastic at 800x600, using 640x480 is too low-resolution - everything works fine, and you don't strictly need to read the fine print, but while actually driving you start to have trouble seeing upcoming track detail, corners, crests, etc.

oh yes, i play with 2K 32" monitor, and i see a big difference with the 1080p.

as you specified : change résolution and renderer.ini

I don't know if it's obligatory or not, but I think you also need this patched file to accept a different resolution
