usually when a game is left behind so long it means it’s very hard to emulate 

and add to that it’s linux based makes it even harder 

I’m sure it’s a must on every arcade collector list

and soon sadly it could be lost forever….

Yes it must be, windows is adding more support for linux all the time though through a subsystem so that should help, I really hope someone revives it for the next generation to play and enjoy, from the age when you couldn't rely purely on fancy graphics. It would actually be criminal to let it just die

To me console ports can be really good, even if they are on the same hardware but they lack the urgency of their arcade counterparts because people are paying to buy the games and want more content for their money and more cut scenes etc, that is often added on, it comes down to less being more with arcade games sometimes in my view at least, like with street fighter 4, it ends up too bulky.

Here's a 1080p patch I slapped together using dgVooDoo if anyone cares. Just drop the files into your main game directory and execute the game with sdaemon.exe

the game also launches for me but it runs slow and end up crashing after selecting character for me

has anyone figured out how to raise the volume in the test menu with snocross the sound is kinda low

You set the keys with jconfig buddy, you don-t need to do it in the test menu just use two of your un-needed buttons on your xbox controller, one for up the other for down and you can turn volume up or down during gameplay, it must have up and down buttons in original arcade game too.

There’re attract+main volume you can set inside the test menu the default aren’t the highest 

after that save the changes exit back to jc loader and set the volume buttons to use on the game itself

Have a look at the buttons settings you’ll see volume+/-

i got confused at first as well lol but yes there is no volume buttons in this jconfig

It won’t let me adjust the volume with snocross only snowboarder has volume control buttons

okay guys my snocross stopped launching for some odd reason what possibly could have caused this.i have it at the root of my drive and in the rawart folder

Unzip the game from the start maybe some files got deleted as for the volume 

if you have access to the test menu for snocross as well there’re 2 possibilities attract+main volume adjustment there

Yes I’ve deleted and set it back up but still not launching but my other raw thrill games still work fine

Hello All! Im trying to load the x games snowboarder and ive done all the steps to set it up besides putting it on the C://Rawart drive. Instead, i installed it on E://Teknoparrot/Games/X Games Snowboarder/Rawart Folder. I configured the Jconfig provided, and placed it in the rawart folder, I got the game to start!! but once the game loads i get to a calibration screen and im unable to make the screen progress forward. its like my controls arent working. Ive tried keyboard and joystick controls but still no use. can anyone help me? It seems like im almost there!!

 

:Also I did'nt put it on the C://Rawart drive BC i have nicktoons arcade racers on the C://rawart directory and i did'nt want to mix the files and have a huge mess.

RT games do not like long file names and deep folder structures

Try to use folder names like Rawart, Rawart1, Rawart2 et cetera in the root of a drive ?

You can basically rename the file anything you want ie C:/Snowcross or C:/Snowboarder, it doesnt even have to be on C:/ just at the rood of any HD you have ie D:/Snowcross

Your jConfig says your using DirectInput but it looks like your using an XBOX controller. That said change to Xinput, remap your controls and I bet it works.

If you are using an xbox 360 or xbox one joypad you want to change it to x imput, i would probably tick thread for joysticks and untick dx window mode if you want full screen also click on settings at bottom and tick the fake analog boxes.

Snow boarder sur mon site dans la section autre lanceur et tout est inclus , perso j ai reussi a le mettre dans mon disc dur r: et le nom du dossier c est le nom du jeux et il se lance super bien juste pour info

i changed everything like you said and i changed to xinput and did all the settings and im still getting the calibration screen and and i cant move forward. please help. im right on the edge of playing this thing.

les deux jeux sont dans mon disc dur Y et sous un autre nom et fonctionne très très bien , pas besoin de mettre dans mon disc dur c: chez moi

Snowboarder is originally in 4k and yet it’s impossible to mark on the loader the high res option?🤔

and for alpine only difference that is was originally hd res but again same thing

it seems that those 2 games displays max res of 1360 x 760 and on a 4k screen it looks good but a bit pixelated 

I wish there was a way to change them to 1080P/4k with a res patch for the exe files

How do i make winter x games snowboarder vertical? where would i do this? in Jconfig? In RH Gameloader? if so where? appreciate the help

SUPER EXCELLENT!

I had to grab am ewfapi.dll from another TP game.

There are two, an 8kb and a 19kb.

Both worked.

 

It runs SMOOTH, looks GREAT!

I miscalibrated the first time and coudln't get back into test mode for some reason.

Had to reinstall to get back into it, and then it works great.

 

I ended up using the Cars DgVoodoo.

The one above was going "dark" whenever I hit a turbo.

My system?

 

Renamed and moved game folder,

two folder levels down on a D: drive,

"D:\DRIVING\Snowboarder".

Works just fine on Windows 8.1.

C'est bon j'ai réussi à l'avoir en plein écran et comme vous allez pouvoir le voir , il est traduit a 99% , il manque que l'accord de @nucleairelandpour la diffusion lol

2 stages:france and colorado it’ll be awesome to have more contents

in this game
