Okay well that sucks I don’t have access to the original board so hopefully a fix will come out that can run it with different loaders like jconfig did until then I’ll wait until this becomes a public release for tp

Can't even play and I am patron. CONTROL are all messed up and go to bios and reset game. Not sure what anyone would be doing different, but this game is still not playable under this emulator.

this is incorrect so please stop spreading false information. You need to go to test menu and change it to freeplay then exit and it will say rebooting so then close game down and then load back up and it will work fine from then onwards

For this game, It is running on The Dell Optiplex 3010 Mini-Tower With Zotac GeForce GT610 or EVGA GeForce GT730 1GB DDR3, Intel Core i5-3470 3rd Gen 3.20GHz, and 4GB DDR3 PC3-10600 Memory. The Optiplex 740 does works with the GT 730 but you will lose some framerate in some areas so it's recommended to use the Optiplex 3010 which the games are initially shipped with. I've mainly see the HP Compaq 6005 Microtower being used for Chuck E Cheese cabs

Good to know, I use the 740 in my 7 racing cabs in my garage for simplicity. Just switch drive in dock for games. Tho since Pixar cars doesn’t support jamma io, I’m sure I have several 3010s here and will give it a go.

Is there a way to drift in this game?

The game tells us to drift and I see other cars drifting, but I can't seem to make it work.

Also other cars do stunts (like backflips in the air). Should the player be able to do these, too?

I have managed to get Cars to work (Patreon) and notice that the first race runs perfectly fine (full graphics and speed), but the second race on any stage shows no background graphics (blue screen with just cars and a few effects elements). Anyone else have this same issue or know of a fix? System and Teknoparrot are full up-to-date and it is a new notebook PC (10th gen Core i7, RTX3070). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What cpu / gpu do you have ?

You can not update to 1.0.0.539 ?

 

MKDX, in this thread ?

To run MKDX both the TP and MKDX .exe must run as administrator

MKDX runs fine since a long time, no need for the latest version of TP to try to get the game to work / test

Otherwise try with JConfig http://www.emuline.org/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=11533

You better ask about MKDX (or other games) in the correct thread

I’m able to boot the game just fine. I’ve changed it to Freeplay in the test menu and added the missing usb dll file to the same directory as sdaemon.exe. The game launches just fine but when it gets the the “Pixar” screen it crashes only with the attached error. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to get this working?

You have to add the usb dll file in both Cars game directory and Teknoparrot directory.

I have it in both the root of the TP folder as well as the root of the carscade folder.

Dunno then, maybe check antivirus and make sure it didn't delete any files. It has to be somthing from your specific computer like that or missing DirectX, or PC not strong enough something because it works for me.

I'm just reposting a question I had from the other day since you have more knowledge on running this game than I do. I have Cars working well through the first race on any track. On the second race, certain tracks go to bluescreen with just cars an minimal effects (you can't see the track, obviously), while others such as Radiator Springs work either as the first or second race. I've tried a couple of different dumps of the games with the same patches with no apparent fix. Any ideas?

No I don't have more knowledge on running the game than you I should have clarified that it fully boots for me unlike the person I was responding to when I say it works not that I have tested the game for hours or anything, I haven't had a chance to test every race like you.

Could someone upload a proper link to download Disney Cars please, and not Virusmans Site link because quite frankly his site is turning into a joke, the one file link wont allow you to download and the link that is split in 2, file one and file 2 only half the link works, It will eventually let you download file 1, then you have to wait nearly 2 hours to download part 2 only after so many numerous over 30 attempts to be told direct downloading is not allowed on uptobox, his site is fast becomeing a click bait site with no results at the end except frustration.  I do not mind ads but at the end to be told you cannot download part 2 of file is totally ridecolous.

It' not ViRuS-MaN's fault but UpToBox one. I agree it is not the best hosting site choice he could have made but hey it is what it is. Like all others hosting site, I use JDownloader to download stuff, yes you have to wait between two files but I simply launch multiples links and let JDownloader doing the job. Files are always downloading once waiting time finished. Knowing you have to wait between two files, I started by dumps on a single archive and sent multiple archives dumps in a second time. This way I was having some of them to work on.

 

As I can sometime spend a lot of time on a dump to make it work, believe me, JDownloader has been faster than me and I rapidly accumulated dumps to install ^^ These days, my computer was downloading even when I was sleeping so... good morning!

 

PS : It's pretty hard to determinate the "best" hosting site since country from where you are downloading can affect one or another hosting site. In France, it's been a time (a long long time ago lol) when UpToBox was pretty good and cool (like Mega when it still was MegaUpload). 1fichier was pretty cool too but have waiting time too now (half less than UpToBox). Zippyshare is a good choice here because there is no wait time at all, it is just needed to split in more parts. But for now, Zippyshare (like UpToBox) must be used through JDownloader... not really safe anymore... opening those links on browser cause an antivirus alert. You can get rid off that using JDownloader.

 

Well to conclude, finding a good hosting site is complicated and depend on geographical zone and even time... Generally hosting sites are pretty good for a certain amount of time then degrades.... In my opinion, ViRuS-MaN's website is a real gold mine (like Trymado's Seedbox too), I agree it is not using the best hosting site but like I said...

And talking about Trymado's seedbox, there you can download without any waiting time and at really fast speed ^^ But it is about Taito Type X / NesicaXLive contents.

get the hola vpn client for Chrome. You can download from uptobox with out issue. Start your first download... when it starts downloading start the second download. when it says wait an hour... change your vpn location. you can now download the second file with only waiting 50 seconds. The first download will continue to download without issue. Keep doing this, and you can get multiple files without having to wait that long. 

 

I used that method to bypass Mega limit bandwidth too but it depends on VPN you are using (and country you are located on) once again, sometimes you just don't have access to file and/or sometimes it is really slow!

@Kleyon It wasnt the waiting time i was complaining about it was after the waiting time had elapsed, but still after numerous attempts to download the 2nd file , uptobox outrightly refused to allow me to download that 2nd part hence time and time again giving me the page that i posted screenshot of, even after trying a lot more than 30 attempts to try and download that part, that was my complaint having gone through such a horrible experiance with the uptobox click bait site.
