Torrents get outdated quickly and there is no easy means to update content. They are not a reliable means to distribute dynamic content.

 

The torrent @DarkVoid666 listed above is fine for Daphne content, which is static, but Singe games are updated all the time.

 

You need look for up-to-date content from the developers source. Usually on the first post of these threads, application repositories or elsewhere.

Hi Karis I hope you are well.

If the standard Space Pirates is removed. It causes the menu to crash when scrolling through all the games.

I found the games.dat file for the HD version was pointing to the standard version.

Easy fix but thought I would point it out as I was very confused to what was wrong for a while.

Saved me having to re download everything to try and fix it.

 

One question though do you know if the HD versions of Mad Dog for example are the same screen ratio as originals?

The 4:3 sinden border cuts a little off the side of the screen that's why I ask.

Parts of the screen will either be missing or stretched if the ratio is changed. Some full wide games exist though I think

I can't speak for Singe 2, but for Hypseus check here:

I'm trying to do a kind of HD version of actionmax but the shoot are not recognized. It work with the original m2v file but not with mp4 or mkv. The lengh of the movie are the same and the size is 640x480. I think it's the .dat file of the movie that record hit. There is a way to get it work with mp4? If it can only work with m2v, what software can i use?

ActionMax works by reading the YUV value of a specific pixel at the centre of the mouse cursor, converting it to RGB values and checking they match with a predefined set of values in the LUA.

If you are going to process this video you will need to ensure that the color, brightness or luminance are matched to source during any processing....

It's possibile to recreate shoot 'em up laserdisc games disc, like Bega's Battle? Or cockpit games like Cobra Command or Road Blaster? Does Singe 2 allow to create different game genres with full motion video running in the background?

I'm not sure about being able to create games like that with background video. Probably but I'm guessing it would take a ton of work. You can definitely use it to create QTE type games such as Dragons Lair but with your own footage.  I'm working on a new QTE game myself that will use Singe 2 along with movie footage. Similar to Sucker Punch for instance.

That was one I hadn't downloaded yet so I just grabbed it. Unzipped to my singe 2 folder, ran the bat file and it ran fine for me. hm. How about sharing what isn't working exactly or what you've tried so far?

All i get is a white screen when i run the batch file then it just closes again, no errors shown or anything, every other game works straight away

Hm.. Check to see if the "Tron" folder you unzipped is not read only. Maybe it's trying to write to the index folder and can't. It will try and index the video file on first launch. Just a thought. I'd just make sure Tron and all sub folders are not read only.  Reaching at straws here man.

 

For what it's worth my batch looks like this.  Start Singe.exe -e 60 -k -z -d Tron\Index -v Tron\Movie\Tron.mp4 -w Tron\Tron.singe

 

Since you're not halting on a black Singe 2 dos looking screen I'm assuming your bat file and paths are ok.

I heard the sound in the Sega CD version of Road Avenger is superior to that of the arcade version). Obviously, the video is godawful. Anyone here happen to know if someone made a singe version of the game with the audio of the Sega CD version?
