Right click on the game file opens the window then compitabilty then you’ll see the option to mark it for windows 8

It happened to me also try running it from c for me it solved it

I had the same issues with the game crashing back to desktop after launching it the first time. But the next time I started it, the game didn't crash anymore. I run the game from my G: drive.

the resolution of my game is wrong how do i change so i can play at full screen ? :D

FIXED just had the windowed mode ON

I tried that  and it crash,so  I  took it off the windows 8 compitable mode it plays fine for a little while then crash  about 20  mins later a  great game I just wish there's a way to play without the game crashing..

I'm grabbing the CDX PC release...it's the only solution for playing it without issues.

I think its because its not the specific jconfig for this game sometimes there’ll be a crash hopefully this game is playable till the end occasionally

If people succeeded finishing ex layer and samurai without the specific jconfig for it maybe here it’s possible too haven’t tried it till the end of the game but if anybody here succeeded without a crash it would help to know it’s possible

I set to launch as admin with no compatibility set and I completed it. I running win10 and nvidia

In J config I enabled i/o option for 3 and 4 player. I use the dinput option and set directions, Service, Test, exit and I only set the following player 1 buttons 2 and 4, player 3 buttons 5 and 6. This gave me all the buttons I needed and stopped the crashing on loading

En J config habilité la opción de E / S para 3 y 4 jugadores. Utilizo la opción dinput y configuro las direcciones, Servicio, Prueba, salida y solo configuro los siguientes botones 2 y 4 del reproductor 1, botones 5 y 6 del reproductor 3. Esto me dio todos los botones que necesitaba y detuvo el bloqueo al cargar

To complete the game without crashing u used idmac64 v1.1 or the one from ex layer?and also which jconfig?

well mostly i tried to reset the download by right clicking it and select the option and it worked... so try that if not then exit out of the application and reopen it

Run it from drive c and try with/without compatibility mode for win8 this game and samurai and king of fighters xiv uses the same jconfig but its not specific for them(because there isn’t any)That’s why sometimes there’s errors running those games(crash etc...)all we can do is wait for a loader for them(any loader)and try to use them as is like i said some people succeeded of completing those games so try also

6 BUTTON FIX

1. In JConfig go to the "Settings"
2. Tick "Connect a 2nd Fast IO (Enable players 3 and 4)"
3. Map the "P3 BUTTON 5" and "P3 BUTTON 6" and click "OK" for save.

The game keeps crashing are the fighting ex layer files supposed to get this game running or do I need something else ?

It would be nice if people gave details of their specs & a bit of info.

Example above , helps know one get this going...And below , seagulls too a chip...

I can get fighting layer to work perfect no crashes on my cabinet.

 

Initially kof wanted some audio .dll  added that and now greeted with a “entry point not found error “ so going to try and troubleshoot that.
