Here it always gives the fatal error, in the %LocalAppData%\Onion\ Saved\Logs folder there is a txt with the error.

For all the people who has problems with this game here r all the known ones:

1.the game uses temp jconfig so sometimes has fatal error

2.it doesn’t work with cpus that doesn’t support avx

3.6 dlc characters r missing hopefully we’ll get them with a patch in the future 

4.the blood mode,vs mode,online doesn’t work

i think that covers it all if i forgot something people feel free to add/remove from the list

The game is great, thank you again for donating this game ..

 

The game has 2 hidden characters (Kazuki Kazama and
Wan-Fu)
Maybe there is a trick to activate these characters (Buttons)
or activated when a card is inserted (Nesica).


The game also crashes (Fatal Error).
This may be caused by a file (iDmacDrv64.dll) because a fatal error will occur immediately after removal.

I saw you mentioning entering Jconfig, settings, and checking the option 'Fast IO (enable players 3 and 4)' I checked this option and lost the configuration of the controls. Is it necessary to use this configuration, what is it for?

You can play local (not online obviously) totally normal whit this message.

Enable the 2nd Fast IO its needed because we are using a "non custom for this game" jconfig and its the only way to use the button 5 and 6.

6 Buttons Fix

 

1. Open jconfig
2. Go to the "Settings"
3. Tick "Connect a 2nd Fast IO (Enable players 3 and 4)"
4. Map the "P3 BUTTON 5" and "P3 BUTTON 6" and click "OK" for save.

How possible you have the button 5 activated whiteout the 2nd IO, if this is in the position "P3 BUTTON 5" ???

The error you are experiencing has nothing to do with the intro video nor the 2nd IO, the game runs perfectly also if jconfig it's not specific for it

and doesn't allow the access to the test menu game settings nor the use of blood, for what concerns the correct button setup, here it is

gamepad button 1 = P3 button1

gamepad button 2 = P3 button2

gamepad button 3 = P1 button5

gamepad button 4 = P1 button6

gamepad button 5 = P1 button1

gamepad button 6 = P3 button4

 this configuration is for Type A

Share it, friends who die when playing the animation can try.
The resolution has not changed after conversion, that is, the non-standard position is changed to standard through ffmpeg, and the compatibility is stronger.

Instructions:
Ensure that the drive where the game is located has 3.5-4g of free space
Unzip the two files in the compressed package,
Put in "Game installation folder\Game\Onion\Content\Movies\"
The correct folder should have a lot of video files
Run RunMe.bat to start batch processing
The command line window will automatically close after running.


I'm not sure if using this tool can reduce the crash  when playing movies in the game. Anyway, try it.

Bonjours a tous J ai des soucis avec samurai shadow    

lorsque je lance le jeu tout vas bien mais dès que ca essais de lancer une video j ai fatal error qui s affiche alors que g installer le packtage pour les fichier video et l utilitaire unreal engine 4

je ne comprend vraiment pas ce qui se passe apparament c est un probleme avec le fichier iDmacDrv64

 

ce que est bizarre c est j ai une autre version de ce fichier iDmacDrv64  avec lequel ca a l air de marcher mais impossible de configurer les boutons 

merci d avance de votre aide

here's how i got it going.

 

If you can't get past the black screen with japanese writing on it, you need to stop the nesys service on your pc, look in the task manager for nesys service and shut it down.

Use the idmac64 from SOR (62kb version) run the game in win 8 compat mode. (This stopped me getting the fatal errors)

If your not able to set the controls after starting the game previously, then start it and close it before you pass the intro. then the controls should work in jconfig again.

my controls are in Dinput using f310 logitech pad

 

in Jconfig

 

P1button1 = none

P1button2 = j1button0

P1button3 = none
P1button4 = j1button3

P1button5 = j1button4

P1button6 = j1button1

P3button5 = j1button2

P3button6 = j1button5
