The game crash immediately when entering song selection and raise this exception

I'm using 2023042500 with Asphyxia 1.50 + plugin version 6.7.0

Audio + timer freeze patch

Camera disabled in Spice2x

 

I never come accross this exception before and have no idea on why this happen. Any help is appreciated.

Can you force this game to run at 4K resolution somehow?

 

Also, can you actually use a real second touch screen monitor for the options panel like in the arcade? Or can you only emulate it?

 

If so how do you do that? What is the resolution of the second panel? Does anyone have the second screen working in their home setup?

Don't know about 4K, but yes, you can use a real touch screen monitor. The resolution is 1920x1080, I have it working on my home setup.  I'm using this monitor: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09G6CLPT2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00

no the game doesn't run on 4k but you can use the subscreen with either a touchscreen monitor or a normal monitor.

both the main screen and subscreen run on 1080p but the main screen should be set to 120Hz and subscreen to 60hz.

Always backup your save data first before giving any new plugin a try.

What's new:

  • Support EG version up to 2023053001.
  • Support Global Matching function, this will only work with the port opened or under same subnet.
  • Support Arena, since the plugin unlocks everything, Arena Point(AP) will not be saved.
  • Added support for import asset from game directly to webui usage, this function is still is testing phase, which may cause some problem, use it with caution.

Trying to use the Import asset feature gives me this error in console, and I unfortunately don't know what it means by manually importing the songs, since when I looked in the data folder and plugin folder I couldn't find anything

what are you expecting to see? it's just the webui assets for the asphyxia core plugin.

I got KFC-2021083100 files fully set (including asphyxia, spicetools)
Game clearly worked well,


but after I overwrited KFC-2021083100-to-KFC-2023042500 files into contents folder,

 

game crashes without any error message after test.

 

 


Is there anything I have to do except overwritng files?

try updating your web ui since you're probably using the old asphyxia version

Hey so I got a touch screen, and the touch capabilities work fine and everything, which is great.

 

When I log into SDVX, the touch screen comes right up with the second SDVX monitor, which is also great.

 

The problem is, there are issues with lag on the touch screen and registering touches right. I need to touch multiple times to get something to input right. Anyone know what could be going on?

update to latest spice2x if not already, then turn on -sdvxnativetouch option

make sure touches go to the primary screen and not the second screen (google how to switch touch monitor targets in windows settings... if you touch the second screen, cursor should go to the primary screen, the game expects this)

 

that should be enough, but if you still have problems, disable spice overlay.

After I covered KFC-2021083100 to 2023042500, patched the file Disable power change
Disable monitor change
Shared mode WASAPI
timer freeze
Then run spice2x. Black screen, only coins can be inserted

 Some patch files doesn't have soundvoltex.dll file.
 that 'dll' file was seen on year one update, UI change update.

I got another files on page 75 (3 MEGA link one), It's 2023042500.

 

but there's no DLL files like soundvoltex.dll, avs2-core.dll.

Is this files just for update or where can i get dll files?

 

 

I put dll files from 2021083100, asphyxia 1.5.0 files, sdvx plugin file (from asphyxia-core github)
and ran it for test, It crashes after test again.

 

 

 

Can someone write tutorial for setting game perfectly?

Okay I've been stuck on this issue for some time so I decided to give up and post here for support.

I am trying to run Exceed Gear and regardless of what I do the game cannot reach the target 120FPS and hangs around at like 100 or something. On an old 2021 version with the sub screen enabled it would shoot way past the limit reaching like 200-300 on the loading screen.

 

I've done things like disabling monitors, changing refresh rates, modding the DLL and even updating SpiceTools before eventually switching to Spice2x.

No matter what version it is, I notice that SpiceTools seems to max out one of my CPU cores while the rest are low usage which is probably why I am lagging.

Any solution to that? I remember being able to run the game in the past.

I used your plugin files exactly.
I put sdvx@asphyxia folder into plugins folder.
you mean sdvxasphyxia_1.zip right?

now game is getting worse.

I'll explain what i did again:

 

1. I got game files from page 75(2023042500, 3 mega link one)

2. I found DLL files from modules folder, so I moved them into contents folder

3. I downloaded and put  asphyxia 1.50c, spice(2023-06-08) files into contents folder

4. I got sdvx@asphxia files from here and put into plugins folder

 

5. I ran asphxia and server started successfully

6. I started spice64.exe, but it crashed again. This time, even test page didn't appeared. 

 

Is there something wrong I did? or my pc is bad to run this game?

I'm using Monitor built-in speaker and it supports only 16bit 48000..

Hello everyone, I'm new to SDVX and (of course 😀) I have a few question for you!!! 😜

I have a setup of two monitor (both can support only 60hz and max resolution of 1980x1080), the game run just fine and everything is ok.
Actually using KFC-2021083100 J-G-A (planning to update to KFC-2023042500 soon), running spice2x 23/06/08 and asphyxia as a server.


The only thing that reamains unclear is the SUB SCREEN on the secondary monitor... i can access it by toggle the overlay using spice2x but when i start the game the sub screen wont appear on the secondary monitor... (and the overlay always stay on the primary monitor)

I would like to have the secondary monitor running the sub screen withouth needing to open the overlay for it... 

any suggestion?

make sure you DON'T apply the "disable subscreen" hex edit, and second monitor must be in landscape mode 1080p@60hz.

maybe post log.txt if you still have trouble
