Anyone able to get th e subscreen to work? Sound voltex is in Valkyrie mode but I can't connect a Ipad via usb c, and if I use an regular HDMI monitor it just crashes immediately (Even with Force Touch enabled and having it in windowed mode or fullscreen mode doesnt matter), I have included my log file

First of all, it doesn't look like whatever second monitor you are using doesn't support 1920x1080 @ 60Hz. Touch is not the problem, resolution is a problem. I have never heard of someone using iPad to work with this.

 

Second, you need newer spicetools for Exceed Gear, you can try this - https://spice2x.github.io/

 

After that, you can enable -sdvxnativetouch to get secondary touch screen to work.

 

Alternatively, you can use SpiceCompanion app in the iTunes store instead to do it wirelessly, instead of touch screen.

Thats weird though, I set the second monitor to function at 60hz refresh rate via windows settings, not sure why it still crashes though but ill be sure to try to fiddle with the settings

when a game launches full screen, it doesn't matter what you set the refresh rate on the windows settings, the game will pick whatever it wants (but fail in this case)

 

usually the fix is to go to your GPU settings (like NVIDIA CP) and enable GPU resolution scaling on the second monitor

 

(also, sub screen doesn't work in windowed mode, no matter what, spice doesn't have support for that yet)

Thanks, ill def keep that in mind, gonna quickly test the new spicetools

So I just reran the test and made sure the monitor was the correct resolution and refresh rate, started in fullscreen mode but it just gives a white screen then crashes, any reason why its doing this?  Log just says directx is failing and is creating an exception error

if you haven't already, make sure main screen is portrait and sub screen is landscape...

I was going to play multi-game with my friend using Hamachi. But my friend had a clear connection to my Hamachi server, and I switched both ip and port from the asphyxia core's web page to the Hamachi server's ip, then I asked my friend to enter my changed webui link in serviceurl and so did my friend.
But after they both run the game
I was the only one who recognized the e-amuse card and my friend's card was not recognized.

When I looked at my friend's screen, the network on the boot screen showed pass, but the network connection was lost on the in-game screen.

I definitely tried it because there was something in the previous thread that asked me to add a friend's profile to my asphyxia server
If you look at the profile slot, it says 1/16 so you can add it, but I couldn't see the button to add the profile in any part of the web.

I made my friend's game version exactly the same, so it wasn't even a difference between the game version.

Friend and my asphyxiacore version is 1.40d.

I'm not sure what the problem is. What else should I do?

Tried D9on12 and i got the same result, also double checked my orientation and everything seems to be in order, not sure why it just doesn't seem to want to budge.. 😞

Unfortunately both IIDX and SDVX can be incredibly picky about the sub screen... for example I have a touch monitor that is 61Hz and game refuses to boot with it

 

Instead, you can enable -graphics-single-adapter, and just use the spice subscreen overlay (press Page Up in game to show sub screen on main screen) and use your mouse. Or you can use SpiceCompanion app.

PageUp works fine, but I'm also trying out spice companion as I don't want the subscreen to block my screen, for some reason it doesn't detect my server, I have it set up where the port is my asphyxia port number and my hostname is "localhost", but it doesn't work, I've tried adding "http://" into the hostname right before "localhost" but that didn't do anything as well, not sure how to make it function

You have to set a different port number in spicecfg for the API, otherwise you have a port conflict (both asphyxia and spiceapi trying to use the same port).

definitely yeah, I already do exactly that to force 60hz and it works fine :)

it translates too Calibrate the analog volume in test mode.
Press the test button to switch to test mode.

 

But when I try to go to test mode nothings there!

explain what you mean by "nothings there"??? Once you enter the test menu, you can enter I/O menu and calibrate.

 

If you want, you can change menu to English first:

 

open prop\ea3-ident.xml or prop\ea3-config

<dest __type="str">J</dest>, and change J to A or U

bad server configuration, why do you have both http://192.168.3.204:8000  and http://localhost:8083... anyway, something is happening with your local EA server, it's sending bad things to the game

as far as i know system bgm uses a different format than s3v, so ill have to look into that

yes that's right , i tried add new single fx sound by packing .2dx file and it work fine , but it didn't work on system bgm files

no need to do this if it takes you too much time, appreciate it
