Is it possible to run Soundvoltex on two PCs at home and play local matches?

I'm using the asphyxia plugin and don't know how to connect to matchingport.

aint it port 8080 or 8083 ?

There is a matchingport field in the asphyxia WebUI, and the default port number is 5700, so I want to know if there is a way to access that from a second PC and play 2P.

if you can see each other on the same local network, then you can play with friends without any issues.

if you want both PC to connect to the same asphyxia server, you need to go into asphyxia webui and change bind from localhost to 0.0.0.0

yes you can use zerotier or hamachi to achieve that.

I've had the "Connection is busy at the moment" error before with the asphyxia plugin. Why not try deleting "sdvx@asphyxia" from the plugin folder and reinstalling it?

I had tried plugin kfc-6.0.3.4a, kfc-6.0.3.4 and kfc-6.0.3.3. None of them works.  Still has "Connection is busy at the moment" error.

The alternative plugin KFC-6.0.3.4a did not work in my environment either.

I installed the official plugin instead and it worked.

zerotier subnet masks（May need to be calculated） to Adapter Subnet

 

open game test page （NETWORK OPTIONS → NETWORK CHECK ）

Check that the contents of IP ADDRESS and SUBNET MASK are the same as what you filled in. If so, the network has been successfully configured.

 

after that you're good to go!

In the zipp archive they are a lot of song inside the musicd-db.xml but can't find yet. It's for that you can play it now (i think)
