i having alredy soundvoltex.dll file

i can enjoyed it in my pc but it coudln't played in my laptop

tryed to install all vc++ and directx

please solve this problem ToT

I was trying to run the game in the valk mode but now it gives me error in the device check (I/O board ERROR, i haven't edited the dll, i just edited the ea3-config.xml to changue the cab code from JFA to JGA) (i just notice that the game in valk mode only "runs" in full screen mode and not in windowed, so if someone there knows how to "fix" this, it would be a good thing, it should be something with the soundvoltex.dll but i don't what to edit in the hex to make it work) (I also notice that now in valk mode, the spice64 now opens 2 windows instead of 1, guess thats how the real valk cab should work) (and i am not using a 120hz screen cuz i don't have one)

I guess I will have to wait for them to update bemanipatcher with some patch for the dll, because I honestly have no idea what to edit in soundvoltex.dll since I don't know much about it, i only know it's a dynamic link library that's usually encrypted. (i also wonder how they know what to edit in that dll)

I replaced the old dll but in-game version didn't change, so I edited the date version in the ea3 xml to fit the 0616 dll. It works fine for me now or the issue just doesn't have much to do with my noob gameplay (around ADV lv 11).

I find out that in soundvoltex.dll, there's two parameters it will throw into this dll file, and the sentence in this dll file is "src: ea3-config-%c%c.xml", the %c will catch the character where throws from ea3-config.xml, that is, where the JFA is writed. That is, if you change the JFA to JGA in ea3-config.xml, it will automatically use the config where it is use in the valkyrie model, that is "src: ea3-config-jg.xml", and the log also shows that the screen refresh rate is change to 120Hz not 60Hz.

However, it cannot pass the Main I/O in the beginning, thus, I think is that spicetools need to update, to make sure that the game can catch the device in your PC.

And also, I don't have any method to update the spicetools though.....

Thanks for the reply but I somehow managed to realize that the game runs pretty decent in the current version, maybe they will have to fix some details later.

Thanks you very much,I did it successfully, S-Critical and Valkyrie effect appeared, only have to do is go get a 120hz monitor lol

BTW, though this won't affect play because we are using offline server , but I don't have MEGAMIX BATTLE and ARENA Battle mode , these should be appeared on Valkyrie Model right?

 

Edit: NVM , I suddenly awared that this problem might cause of asphyxia-core plugin since i am using the Changed Vivid wave plugin to run Exceed gear.

In the first time, I can run the game normally.

I tried to use spicetools and bemanitools to run SDVX later on, both failed.

for spicetools,libavs-win64.dll' couldn't be loaded;

and bemanitools avs2-ea3.dll and avs2-core.dll couldn't be found

both visual C++ and DX have been reinstalled.

Valkyrie mode was successful with dll, xml modification, but the internal output frame is estimated to be 60 fps (animation, etc. is 2x slower than normal)

also the note speed is regular, but it is also show to 60fps.

is there any solution about this problem?

it solved. you have to turn off the g-sync option. the vm is perfectly work at 2021061600 version

accessed valkyrie mode and 120hz in 0518 version after editing dll and ea3 xml. megamix and arena mode are accessible too using the offical asphyxia core plugin.

 

But two new issues appears:

 

1. lasers are sometimes invisible if valkyrie effect is on, everthing works fine when it's off. wonder if others have this issue too

 

2. the sub screen doesn't show up, spice only opens one window as it did before, the key bind to toggle sub screen doesn't work neither. I tried using both the laptop screen and a monitor but can't work it out. Is there any special steps to take to have sub screen? ( I noticed there's touch emulation option in spice, guess it's for the sub screen function maybe)

I have two 60Hz monitors and the spice works fine for me in full screen using valk mode, the subscreen even emulates the touch feature using the mouse. (i have disabled the win touch in the spice config, It seems that it was not necessary to have it enabled, i just enabled the force touch emulation, I don't know if it really works, or if it was already emulated regardless of this option). About other things I noticed, regardless of having a 60Hz monitor, I noticed that the game instead of running at 120hz, is actually running at 240hz for some reason, I tried to force it to run at 120hz but the interface and almost everything runs slower, so I better leave it without limits.

Are you using asphyxia core v1.40c? I met the same problem using that version. somehow fixed by using a previous version and a customized plugin provided in this thread.

As for update, check Nyaa for what you want.

so you can show the subscreen, why I enable "force touch emulation" in spicetools, I still cannot see the subscreen pop out??

And also you need to match the hz between the game and your monitor, that is, the game is 120Hz and your monitor also need to switch to 120Hz, or the game will be laggy, and you need to turn on vertical sync.

It can be two things, either you are not playing in valk mode, or you just missed something to make it work (which I don't know what it can be), you could try to play in valk in windowed mode to see if two windows are opened instead of one (the spicetools will crash but at least you can see that, check if two windows were opened, with that you should know if you are playing in valk mode or not).

At this point I noticed that the game, despite running at 240hz, runs quite well, with no problems so far.

The vertical sync the only thing it does in my case is to force the game to run at 60hz but that makes the animations and interface slower (it's funny because even though it is at 60hz it looks like everything is in slow motion)

I got the DLL file from https://nyaa.si/view/1399619 and am using it.
 

I don't know how to use the online hex editor

Google "Bemani Patcher". Select the game. Drag and Drop the dll file the website tells you to into the little box, select the right options, and click on Save. A new file will be generated. Drop it into your contents folder to replace the old DLL file (backup the old one if you're paranoid). That should do it.

Did you solve the problem? Same as you, there is no Valkyrie and 120hz menu.
