J'ai configuré ma manette xbox one mais visiblement elle ne fonctionne pas avec ce jeu...une idée ?

J'ai finalement téléchargé la version Teknoparrot ici même et le jeu fonctionne nickel, donc merci ! En plus je le trouve vraiment sympa, je ne le connaissais pas du tout. Le seul truc qui fait mal c'est la résolution de 800X600, existe-t-il un moyen simple de changer la résolution ? J'ai vu une vidéo sur youtube qui le fait tourner en HD avec Teknoparrot donc ça doit être possible ^^

J'ai téléchargé dgVoodooCpl mais pour l'instant je ne comprends pas trop comment cela fonctionne et surtout je ne sais pas si ça marche avec la version Teknoparrot du jeu...

I tried Dgvoodoo for HD and Boomslangnz 's plugin for FFB. Since they both use modified Dx3d9 dll, they do not seem compatible.

 

EDIT: you can rename the dll for the FFB plugin. I used winmm.dll

Pas vraiment, j'ai trouvé ça quelque part dans la doc du FFBPlugin.

Comment tu trouves le FFB?

Pour moi, ce n'est pas terrible. Il manque des effets en cas de choc

Ah ben c'est marrant ça, j'allais justement demander si c'était normal qu'il n'y ait pas de choc lorsqu'on rentre de plein fouet dans un adversaire !  A part ça je trouve que ça n'est pas si mal...

J'ai plusieurs fois suggéré des améliorations à Boomslangnz et demandé s'il y avait un moyen de l'aider mais il n'a jamais répondu.

Yes I have heard your complaints.

 

The game does not use real force feedback values and was just made up effects I did waayyyy back when first starting ffb plugin. 

 

You want good ffb effects? Then find me the real force feedback values and we can make much better experience

I apologize if you received my comments/suggestions as complaints. You have done so many miracles in the past, it is difficult to know what you can do and cannot.

Your work is amazing and I enjoy many games thanks to it.

As for finding real FFB values, is there a chance to find them through an analysis of the code (disassembly). Could a beginner hope to find them?

It's fine dont take my comment as me being upset. 

 

It should be possible with pro mode to enable force feedback somehow but I'm really unsure how. I haven't done any disassembly on it though. Most likely there is a check somewhere for ffb board and game wont output values without patching

To me the game looks decent with dgvoodoo, I'm really enjoying it. In fact it's one of my favorite arcade driving game by now as it's no so arcade oriented (fast and furious games are fun, but...)

 

Driving sensation are pretty good, especially with FFB even it's not perfect. But hey ! all that stuff is free and made possible thanks to talented guys who are working on it, i'm so admiring !

 

Btw, what is the "pro mode" for this game everybody's talking about ?

Excuse  me i have a problem with battle Gear Tuned 4 ..when i start the game it runs with a white screen..i did not have this problem with old configuration but now with this new pc configuratuon game presenta thai issue

Try changing to 2.1 speakers configuration and it should work

Pro mode is option available in teknoparrot which unlocks Professional Edition which gives widescreen support and various other changes

No..i use i conf.. with old mg pc it worked..but now with my new pc it dont works

I use tp for it and when I changed settings from 5.1 to 2.1 it solved the white screen problem i had and everything works fine

The strange thing Is  that it worked fine first with i conf

maybe I have not explained myself well but I take the audio from the video card via hdmi as I have always done with the old pc because the only piece that I have not changed is the video card

Oh ok, thanks ! The game I downloaded from this very page sports widescreen and have all tracks unlocked already. Just tried to activate the profesionnal option by curiosity and it makes the game crash on lauch lol

 

Just needed to tick Professional Edition Hold Gear box too and now it works ! With dgvoodoo I'm now able to run the game in full HD with the correct image ratio, plus there are new cool options in the menu for cars, that's terrific !!

Seems that with the last teknoparrot update, the unlocked circuits have disappeared !

So I decided to "reinstall" the game completely by removing the .xml and add the game again in TP and you know what ? The Pro mod is not here anymore !!

Do you guys have the same issue ?

Yes, and I resolved the problem, just reinstall the game and put config.bin in the folder. Idk if works installing only the config.bin and replace it, because I used the first method. Reply to me if that worked, for the pro mode disappering I didn't get that bug, so I can't help you on it, sorry. Does anyone know how to play Battle Gear 4 Tuned? Cause I have a small monitor so I see only a few. Thanks to all of you!

i made a fresh install of the game (TP Version Download) and installed the config file, but it didn't work for me. It's still missing the extra tracks and freeplay. Maybe im using the wrong config file? Any help appriciated!
