downloaded sound voltex 2 but it keeps closing at the network check anyone know how to fix?

anyone knows how to resize the window for sdvx v when playing witha horizontal oriented monitor? I manage to resize all the other versions but 5 seems tobe static. tried with the -w parameter but no avail

got it to work with rocketlauncher now as I did with the previous versions. The trick is to use a bezel and the window centers and fits into it, just like on "Elevator Action Death Parade"

I got the game running, connected to Asphyxia and created a profile in game. But there are couple of things, first there is no sound and second no notes show up or anything when the track starts. Any help? Thanks in advance!

I actually have this exact same problem with SDVX V - no sound & when starting a song, you see the track and other screen animations but no actual notes start scrolling.   I have no problems with SDVX IV though with spicetools/asphyxia.  I know SDVX V arcade has some hardware/OS differences from SDVX IV so I assume that's where the issue lies.

-Check that you enabled exclusive mode in your audio device's properties and that your audio format is 24bit 44100Hz. If you can't change it, try using other device or reinstalling the audio drivers. Worth noting that the recommended is using a headset with a jack connected directly to the motherboard. 
According to xuserv, the game looks for 6ch / 32bit / 44.1k | 2ch / 32bit / 44.1k | 2ch / 16bit / 44.1k, if you're audio device doesn't support these audio format it won't make any sounds .

Play on event mode. You'll have everything.

Does asphyxia only support a single card? No matter what card/pass I enter it always loads the same scores. Was hoping to have a few profiles on my machine.

The old SVDX work fine with Spicetools and card0.txt

SVDX 5 works fine with minime

I have it working just fine with asphyxia, but my roommate want's his own scores. It doesn't look like it's possible to have two accounts on a local asphyxia server.

What you could do is have 2 versions of Asphyxia. Open yours when you want to save your scores, and open his when he wants to save his. I am currently on a new Asphyxia version, and my scores didn't carry over from the old one, so I assume this is possible.

Had the same problem.

Mainboard had no onboard sound, my usb soundcard which was working fine in sdvx gravity wars made no sound. Tryed PciE Soundcard Asus Xonar bad sound, then i tried a Soundblaster PCIE Card and its working fine.

Asphyxia creates *.json files  (the files that have your scores/progress/etc.) in the directory that it is run from.  You can just create a separate directory for your roommate with a copy of Asphyxia in that folder - he would just run it from that folder when he plays to access his own scores/etc.

I got VW to work but it runs at half speed, audio is super low pitched and I don't have any other programs open. I set my audio settings to the recommended I'm not sure what's wrong.

The issue was the patch this is resolved.

nope, doesn't fix it, it usually fix the problemw when u cant hear audio OUTSIDE sdvx right?

How do I play standard mode in VW using Asphyxia? Do I need to create a fake emuse card in the options or something? How would I go about swiping said card even?
