Can someone post a step-by-step on how to run this in TeknoParrot? I can't keep up with this thread, as I'm technologically illiterate.

Hey. Sorry, I've been meaning to get back to re-uploading the DT files for a while. I still don't have 14 or English 7 unfortunately.  Do you need any other files re-uploaded?

@Blaze Accelerator 1 You got a list of the DT games (version number) you got ?

The game is crashing for me when I open it in Teknoparrot. The screen immediately doesn't respond and crashes after it clears the security check. The Steam Child window also comes up but doesn't do anything, but closes when the game window opens. 

I also had data errors when extracting the files.

I have English 6 and all of the Japanese versions except 10 and 14.

I'd really like to get some of the early Japanese ones playable since they have different mini games and images.

Here the tool used to extract the .bar files

Extract the .zip to get the .iso files, in those .iso files you will find the .bar files, all done with 7z

 

Extract those .bar files with quickbms.exe

Make sure the .bar files are in the same folder as quickbms.exe

Drag the file Extract.bms file on top of Quickbms.exe, then follow instructions

 

Merge the contents of the second .bar file, data folder files into the first .bar extracted files folder (the bsv file is exactly the same file)

So that all data folder files are merged

For me it works full screen at 1280x1024 WITHOUT I/O (no emulation, yet) from

#1 from D:\HDT\client\game.exe

#2 from D:\ID2\client\game.exe

#3 from D:\ID3\client\game.exe

#4 from D:\ID4\client\game.exe

#5 from D:\ID5\client\game.exe

#6 from D:\JD6\contents\exe

 

 

Games "run fine" attract / demonstration mode,  on Windows 10 64 bit, only error is Japanese text is not shown correctly, it just shows a bunch of characters

Make a shortcut to the game.exe and add -noerr to shortcut properties

 

All 6 game.exe run from the above mentioned locations with the TeknoParrot Yu-Gi-Oh 5DS Terminal 6 (USA) link but stop on I/O error

Will this fix the English version too? It has the same problem with showing weird characters for high score names.

I have the full operation manual for the cabinet, but it doesn't say anything about the type of camera. Maybe it needs a way to access or set a camera?

Yes, but letters are weird when I put in a high score name.

I got the discs for Duel Terminal Next which had special modes and online play, and player data could be saved with a special card. This the 5D's next version, which I think is similar to Japanese DT10/11. Here's the link if anyone wants the files.

managed to get it started, i am i nthe attract mode but there is no way to insert coin, why?

Are you playing on Teknoparrot? You need to map a control to insert a coin.

I found someone who has a US machine and a bunch of the US discs, but apparently can't access them at the moment. This was at the end of December so I'm hoping they get back to me. It's the best lead I've found so far.

Not yet. They said they weren't sure which they had. They just said they had bought a machine and it had a bunch of discs inside of the cabinet.

I still haven't heard back about it yet, unfortunately. I've been asking around different places looking for anyone else that might have it.
