Judging by the answers on this post and your overall activity, you were the one who managed to add the DT version that we have in TP.

Could you give me a quick recap of more or less what you did? I want to add all of the other dumps that are available so that we can have them all.

I don't remember who got the dumps playable on TP. It might have been the person who uncracked the dumps after I dumped the original files. If it wasn't Inari, you might be able to get some help on the TP Discord. I've been trying to find someone willing to make all of the versions playable, so it would be awesome if you could do that. I'm clueless about this stuff beyond dumping files.

Yes. I have been searching in the TP discord without any success. 
I have been playing around with the Mohkers DUMP and I have been able to boot up my laptop camera to scan cards, but I have no mouse input.

The TP version works fine, but I can’t scan anything with the camera. The other trouble is, that I really hate the Action Duel X mechanic. The original Action Duel was way better.

 

I am going to try to make the other versions playable. I really hope you can get your hands on the Ouroboros disc.

 

Just to double check, which DUMPS do you have? English and Japanese.

You actually got it to connect to the camera and scan cards? I wish someone could get the TP one to do that. I've wondered if someone could trick the game into opening the files where you could select the card file if that's even possible. I never got the mouse to work on the Mohkers one either.

I only have US 6 unfortunately. I try asking on the Yugioh Reddit every now and then to see if anyone has any of the other versions.

oh, it seems you've got the japanese DT 14 disc, but could not get access to  the game files? or could not get the DT 14 playable?

No, I don't have the DT 14 discs unfortunately. NZeroA is going to try to get the different versions playable on Tekno Parrot. If you know anything about that though, I think NZeroA is looking for some help.

besides,

what i found about the game to be playable is, that the developers of Tekno Parrot did some work with Tekno Parrot  to make  DT_USA_6 playable. therefore, other versions can not be playable with replace but without work.

so if NZeroA can get in connect with the developers, it may be of some use.

what i figured out is that if your PC has GeForceExperience to record gameplay then hit Alt+Z several times and the mouse will appear. Tried successfully with Tekno Parrot and the DT6 Japanese version

Have already tried that on the TP discord.

The answer was "I don't think any of the duel terminal stuff is open source, and I don't think there's any motivation by the person who added it to support the older versions or else he would have".

So that's going to be fun.

 

From what I have found:

It could be possible to play older DT sets on TP. I have been able to mix up the images and textures from the JP version on the US version, but it always crashes when displaying some images.

By doing some research, the only thing that we would need to patch are the dynamic paths to those textures and files.

 

What I guess we would need:

On the openparrot github, there was a video that showed how to add support for a new game using an already working game config files. So that would be perfect for this situation... But, the video is no longer available. I have been searching through the forums but haven't been able to find anything related to it.

So it sounds like we're not going to be able to get the other versions playable unless someone can make a launcher like the Mohkerz launcher and have it consistently work. That's really disappointing.

On a side note, the Japanese DT 10 discs just came up in an Japanese online auction in a bundle of DT discs. I tried to get it but it got too expensive. It ended up selling for $230 USD and who knows how much it could have continued to go up. I didn't think it would be worth that much just for the one disc. Hopefully another chance comes along.

Would anyone happen to have raw .ISO files instead of the .bar and other file types?

I have an actual duel terminal machine, I just need discs to make it work according to the guy that's working on it, so if anyone has raw/unmodded .ISOs that I can burn to a DVD, or knows how to make these files into a usable DVD for an actual duel terminal, I would be very grateful.

I've been having a very hard time trying to find a way to get this machine running for my store.

Not sure if this helps or not, but it's a 5D's one with an action button.

They are part of the bin files.

I tried to rip the music from the Japanese version, as it has several lossless tracks from the JP anime, but without the clear dynamic paths, it is kinda difficult.

I recently installed a JP version of Windows in another machine and was able to properly load characters on both Mohkerz and the TP versions. I’ll keep trying to find a way to rip everything.

No luck yet. There's just the one guy on Reddit I found that has a machine with all the discs, and he wants them emulated, but the machine is apparently stored at his friends house who doesn't live there regularly, so he can't get to them until his friend is in town.

This person has been uploading game play of the Duel Terminal and today he uploaded the soundtrack. I don't know how he did it. He never responds to comments about how he does his stuff. But it is possible to extract the music. I really want the music from the anime.

Unfortunately, only the English DT 6 is playable. I've been trying to find someone able and willing to make them playable, but no luck yet.
