@ark216,

 

Be sure to select the right peripheral and set it up correctly for P1 configuration in demulshooter. 

 

There is a tool (demulshooter Diag... Something like that inside the folder of demulshooter), use it to recognize your peripheral.

Old wiimotes are OK with touchmote.

Unfortunatelly I do not own any Wiimote so I won't be able to help you for this

DsDiag is only to be used for RawInput device diagnostic (Lightguns,etc...).

For XInput you must use windows to test buttons and axis like a real joypad

Okay guys, I have had some progress but it did not fix things for me.

I deleted my profiles and in the default profile ( i have named it "test profile"). I deleted all of the button assignments (including classic controller and nunchuck) (there is a X button when you click on it, it deletes the button assignment). Now the good thing is that the + and- buttons on wiimote don't control the volume any more, infact I successfully mapped the + and - button in the Teknoparrot Rambo button config (previously it wasn't possible).

Now the start button works in game. But the aiming and targeting is all over the place. Mostly it will remain stuck left corner only on one occasion that too in windowed mode it worked properly for a while and then started to glitch.

Any clues?

Go calibrate the guns in rambo menu maybe.

You see i put this config as default , because there is one problem . How to point out Rambo in touchmote as profile  . Its RamboD.elf . No exe file .

Tried to change elf to exe , but no luck . So if anybody have a solution for this . I want to load my touchmote profile when i start Rambo .

But for now put it as default , so you can test it over hyperspin .

 

In teknoparrot , config coin on wiimote for minus or plus , start the same . And also for rage button 1 or 2 .

And don't forget to turn off usemouseforgun in settings.

 

Next in your rambo gamefolder under disk0/elf . create a bat file as follow : Just change the location of your teknoparrot emulator offcourse

 

@echo on
START DemulShooter.exe -target=lindbergh -rom=rambo

cd "D:\Hyperspin Rocketlauncher\Hyperspin\Emulators\TeknoParrot Rambo"
START TeknoParrotUi.exe --profile=Rambo.xml

exit

 

Next download demulshooter and copy to the gamefolder . https://ibb.co/pdDNdqN

Open Demulshooter with ADMIN rights ( don't forget , otherwise it don't work )

Select your 2 wiimotes for player 1 and player 2 .

In my case its xinput 3 for player 1

and xinput 4 for player 2

Because i have also 2 xbox one controllers

Save this .

 

Now create a shortcut from demulshooter , and add this string   DemulShooter.exe -target=lindbergh -rom=rambo

Don't forget to put appwaitexe demulshooter.exe from rambo gamefolder .

Me i use pclauncher for my teknoparrot games and this works best for me .

 

If anybody could find a solution for the profile in touchmote . Then i would be happy

Just click on the buttons of each wiimotes:

Example:

Start P1 = button plus of first wiimote

Start P3 = button plus of second wiimote. 

 

(this example is in the case you use one dolphin bar + touchmote)

@ginzu I have had no luck with touchmote, will try it some other time, meanwhile I think using wii mote as mouse is the only option I have. Now tell me how do I simulate the middle mouse button on the wii mote if I use wii mote as mouse in mode 2?

@ginzu@defre1976 I did some extensive testing and have started to get a hold of things. I will be only discussing wiimote +touchmote+mayflash bar in mode 4 setup (only one wiimote so far). This may also proof to be helpful for newcomers.

 

For Rambo the game needs to be played at the default stock resolution (no custom resolution) else the aiming will be completely off and stuck to top left of the screen mostly. If you happen to play it with custom resolution and then try with default resolution, the aim will still be off.I restarted my pc and the problem was still there I tried a combination of down dpad + trigger and that reset my cursor to a default position (in-game) and hence was able to play the game properly. This down dpad + trigger was a random buttons combination I don't know what exact buttons were which reset my cursor to a default position it could have involved an A button (Wii mote A button) in conjunction as well.

 

As for the Middle click button I have set the d-pad UP on the Touchmote software that enabled me to use the "middle mouse button", in Rambo's case it's the RAGE MODE. Despite the fact that in Demulshooter the "middle mouse button" was assigned to 'X' of xbox from the drop-down list. Other buttons like '1' an '2' on Wiimote corresponding to 'X' and 'Y' (assigned in touchmote) did not result in being used the middle mouse button or the grenades button in Rambo's case. So in short D-pad up can be used as the middle mouse button.

I've never been able to get this game to work with Intel computer, it just crash when trying to load. Does it just not work with Intel?

Works well on my i3 + nvidia GPU

HI, sorry, I didn't seen your post before. 

Not complicated: check virtual button in demulshooter setting (there is one key you can bind for right click and middle click), then bind it to the key on the wiimote you want into an ahk script. 

I'm going to make a video for Rambo with 2 dolphin bars asap. 

 

 

EDIT: i'v done a new video for Rambo and how I activate rage button. It's for 2 players but it's also working for one player without demulshooter (I explain this in the video),  tell me if that help. Tutorials took me lot of time to make.

The part where you say that i have to enter 2 paths (one for demulshooter and other for teknoparrot), i didn't understand which path in teknoparrot ? Meaning the path to the rambo elf?

The crosshair triggers do not reach the maximum x-axis limit on screen. As a result i cannot shoot enemies at the edges. I had a similar issue with ringwide or ringedge game, I cannot remember if/how I solved it. I am pretty sure there are fewer issues with direct input, I wish demulshooter would support Wiimote directly.

Oh yes! I though it was obvious. I am pointing to a Teknoparrot shortcut which is rambo in this case. 

Lnk extension is window shortcut

 

So, you must create a Teknoparrot shortcut. Then go to properties of this shortcut and then on the path field, you must add:

- - profile=rambo.xml (for example).

It's look good, check carefully : you must have a space between the original path and '--pfofile'.

Because in your ahk file i see a path with a .Lnk extension to it, so i am confused now. The shortcut i created for now is actually in my desktop.

If not then what should i enter in the ahk script for teknoparrot path?

Dear @ark216,

Now, just point the path to where is your Teknoparrot shortcut into the ahk script and give him the Lnk extention in it (like I do in my script). 

 

I think, you got a problem with one of your two buttons on your wiimote ( button 1 & 2): these buttons are volume up and volume down when we use dolphinbar in mode 2.

Go to my YouTube channel (ginzu emulation) , there are 2 tutorials for wiimotes and rambo. One is for mode 2 with 2 dolphin bars 2 players. The other is for mode 4 with touchmote for 2 players too. 

Tips: For all lindbergh games : do not check the custom resolution. You will have an offset. Keep the original resolution.

Hi,

 

I'm using 2 GUNS from Alien Extermination game,

they recognize as RAW INPUT, i manage to use demulshooter on rambo, but it recognize only 1 player.

also try on House of the dead 4 and the same, i cant run player 2 (not just the gun, even the start button not work..)

i manage to use on both guns on Alien Extermination , Farcry instinct and MAME64 Games.. 

 

i think i miss something in the configuration of the demulshooter or maybe inside the TeknoParrot.

in the DIAG tool i manage to see both of the guns and they work..setup up both player 1 and player 2.. 

 

please help...

good morning. i have 2 dolphinbar and 2 wiimote. in the shooter game when select light gun, there is no distinction between the first and the second bar , they have the same name. this means that in the game the sights are overlapped and if I shoot with one gun  it shoots the other too. I have tested all these versions with both demulshooter 10.1.5 and without. help me

Yes, it's normal. We must wait (and hope that harms (dev of rawinput feature) could fix this behaviour.......

 

Also, i noticed that the crosshair in operation ghost is moving very badly (very fast and with an offset)....

 

 

just set the first wiimote for the first player and you will be Ok with rambo.
