It's super easy, you need:

 

1 Dolphin bar

1 Wiimote

1 Nunchuck

Touchmote software

 

Select the "mode 4" of the dolphin bar, install Touchmote and pair wiimote, in Controller Configuration select "default".

 

Now you'll be able to move the caracter with the Nunchuck stick and fly pressing the C button.

 

For the magic I use a Leap Motion controller.

There is only one attack style / button.

The other buttons got the exact same function, attack.

There is also a lever button, no idea why it is used.

In total 3 buttons, attack, jump/fly and lever.

And you will need a Leap Motion

 

Maybe this of any use ?

Ducon's fix works only for XInput (xbox controller) as far as i know.

There are also DInput devices. (use original files)

Yes, at the moment.

Maybe joystick / mouse emulation in the future, no idea when, if ever.

That's the whole point of the game... Get a leap motion if you want to play it correctly... :/ mouse emulation wouldn't really work either, because a lot of the moves require really specific gestures and some even require 2 hands.

I will look into it at some point, I have in my list but yes not sure when I can get to it. Will emulate the leap with mouse, but clearly there will be trade-offs and fidelity issues.

 

Meanwhile someone can try to fiddle with the unreal config files, it might be possible to reassign leap stuff to keys.

I have a question to ask. Every time I start the game by clicking bppgame.exe, my VR applications, including Oculus and Steam VR, also start.

Idk if multiplayer is possible in this game. Magician's dead (and Gunslinger Stratos) has some weird network issues where it's impossible to link cabinets locally. Because both are designed around multiplayer, I'm kind of curious why Byking didn't develop these games as a twin cabinet (akin to very early Namco games).

I did that but the issue right now is that the IO file is setup for WASD for movement... what should that file be set to for the nunchucks to work?

I connected the dolphin bar to PC

set mode to 4

I then started the game with the INI file and it doesn't detect the nunchuck.. BUT the WSDA keys work fine.... on my xtension joystick controller
