I can't try it because I don't have a high resolution monitor.

There is no disagreement for the VHD files, here we are talking about the shared mega file. May be the mega link did not share the files for the latest U02, and just the same as before. @eproxy might need to make sure that it is the case.

Confirming the U2 files should be very different from the original release.

 

romVersion.txt from U2 itself says it:

It works perfectly on my 1920x1080 monitor. Thanks DJ! Saved me some time, really appreciated

 

This .exe includes the running patch and the fullscreen patch if you run in 1920x1080. So you can just download and use djexpert's.exe and ignore the rest.

Those are the vhd files. We need to make sure the .7z archive posted includes the files coming from those vhds (.i.e. the unpacked/uncompressed files extracted from the vhd)

Hey everyone, I'm a little late to the game on this one and despite reading all the posts, am still not 100% sure whether the Dome-like view can be made to be flat like a normal screen? I know it's trying to mimic a snow biker's view but it's so annoying to view.

 

Secondly, I manage to get the game to boot and the mouse and everything works but is there are a way to make it full screen and exit without CTRL-ALT-DEL? I'm just using a custom .bat file to launch and not using any loaders? Should I be using any loader, if so, please suggest which one works best?

 

I will write a step-by-step tutorial on this once I get it fully working.

Yes read the 3 known issues attached to the dome V1 fix. This is issue 1. There are two more documented known issues.
