@carson12345678 That minime error is causing the issue. It is because you have something using port 80, so that is why Minime will not start. You have to stop some http services. Try opening up command prompt: Net Stop HTTP. I believe there is some service that is using port 80, once you disable this service or stop it, re-run minime again, you should not get that extra stuff, and it should be just upto "Startup OK"

Cannot get passed this stage, have tried multiple times making sure everything is right? any suggestions please to sort this out

have also had dvd issue which i fixed by disabling on devices
error 8002 which im sure is related to this not getting a network
and also random 6401 jvs i/o board not connected

now also 0800 error when i try and load start.bat

So that screenshot is the same issue carson12345678 is having. There is a service that is using the port 80 on your computer, so it cannot run minime because something else is using that port. You need to stop the HTTP service or some service that is using that port, then re-run minime again and it should just load up to that Startup OK part and then it should be working.

 

After this is done, check to see if you are still receiving the 8002 or jvs 6401 errors or even the 0800 error. We can work on those if they still show up afterwards.

Anyone have a keyboard tuto? Im stuck at the main screen none of my keys work. Tried the vJoy/UCR step by step but for some reason it doesnt work... If not ill go the xbox controller route.

so have to make sure nothing else is running on port 80 
thanks will take a look. hope i can work it out

so ran a check to see, this is all i could find, not sure how to stop the service given its the system just listening

Hard to see the screenshot of what service is running on port 80 for you. A lot of the time you can try if it is just an http service listening. Net stop http /y most of the time can clear it. If you can, could you tell me what is the service/exe that it is listening on port 80 from the screenshot? Or upload screenshot to image site like imgur? Since emuline has odd formating of images.

yeah i thought that was bad, 

got it working it was a windows feature, world wide web serivce under IIS
had to turn it off then restart comp, have initial d running now
just have to figure out wheel and game save

can do non save races ok

but its not letting me save game, its not detecting aime card on initial start up where you would purchase a card

So when you press start and the animation of tapping card. Are you pressing and holding the enter key on keyboard? That should load your card. Then just choose yes on the mobile section and create your avatar. Online battle is not available.

Has anyone had any luck mapping up their steering wheel shifters for up and down gear changing on a Logitech G29? This is the final bit of customization I need. Using the Actual g29 six sequential shifter is a little challenging at the moment. Thanks for any assistance.

Your (virtual) dvd drive needs to be disconnected

You can patch amdaemon.exe, offset 0x22553A, replace 0x74 by 0xEB. You can now play the game with a DVD drive enabled and no error 0919.

changing the input from xinput to dinput gives 100% steering range on the single stick, however the gas/brake I can't get setup to work right to save my life lol
Using xbox 360 controller. no matter how I assign the Axis for accel/brake it finds any axis as being half pressed and there seems to be no way to get the top triggers set to left/brake, right/gas because it sees it as single axis "RZ"

I also found out the "accelaxis" and 'brakeaxis" do the exact opposite. accel actually changes control for brake and brake changes control for gas lol

@ramses When everything is booting up, are you getting any data in the minime window? Also could you post what you amdaemon.exe window puts out? (this is the window similar to this: 

If take a screenshot of all of it, this will help and seeing where the break could be. I think it is related to the game not able to make a connection.

 

@ginzu I haven not seen that come up before. The only thing I can think of is either check your  Direct X installation and maybe confirm you have all the stuff in Plugins.zip in first page? That looks like a generic crash stating it cannot open the Direct X application, so it is hard to tell. I think the best way to do this to break it down more. Could you also provide a screenshot of all of the cmd prompt window of amdaemon.exe, Also is Minime also started up?

I think you can adjust this with the newer segatools versions. There is a section in Segatools.ini in the newer versions (I think version #3 and above have this) that allow the steering to work rather than 50%. I am not familiar with how to set the setting as I don't use controller for this, use a Logitech Driving Force GT. But the settings are there you might have to play around with.

well, first I tried adding those lines to the old segatools.ini, that caused the whole thing to not load anymore, then I found and downloaded new version of segatools, coppied that to the dir the old was in, setup network and everything per OP, now all I get is network error which makes no sense being I kept my old segatools.ini and coppied that info exactly the same.... I did notice another option in the new ini that wasn't in the old,

I'm pretty sure everything is setup right, I know I have been trying things for a while now, I've even tried using the IPV4 from my connection to my roughter, the IPV4 I get when I do a ipconfig check, I've tried changing various subnet settings but for some reason after switching to this segatools, it doesn't seem to work, segatools-v004 downloaded from http://www.emuline.org/topic/1659-arcade-pc-initial-d-arcade-stage-zero-sega-nu-2/

All I did was backup and overwrite the files of the old minime with Version 11 and segatools Version 4

And edited the new segatools.ini file with the settings of the old segatools.ini and set singleStickSteering=0 to 1
