You need an eAmuse Local Server program in order to get past the Network check.

do i need to fix the ea3-config? i have the ea local server and even if its on, it's still 'bad' in network. ddrx2 is also like that (not that it matters for x2)

Yep. Just change the line that uses the servers from 573 to just local server indicated in ea local server.

Yea please I am getting this issue as well and I have tried everything Also I'm not even what is going on anymore as the game works on my laptop but not my desktop

No, sorry. That MEGA link is not even mine. But I believe MEGA has a "Download as ZIP" feature if you want to download all of it together/in one go. Or better yet use MEGA Sync app on desktop (I prefer this method because it allows to resume downloads if/when interrupted).

That's because those servers weren't created for 2014 and use an entirely different protocol. No one has made anything locally for 2014.

Has anyone managed to get all the menus running in English? I set the region to U:A:A in my ea3-config.xml file, and some menus show the text in English, while some other menus are still in Japanese. Running this game with the latest SpiceTools.

Basically, you go into your DDR 2014 game directory, then head inside the "prop" folder:

 

Then open up "ea3-config.xml" with Notepad++ or similar:

 

Then change what ever the letter is in "dest_type" to the letter "U" (right before the "</dest>" part, the "U" highlighted in red):

 

 

Then I got to some menus which are english (partially).

I didn't know there was an english version of this until now.
