I just inspected the file (gamemdx.dll) and I am sure that I didn't make any changes from previous versions. Gold Cab Mode Offset that I set (5a in "hex" which is 90 in "decimal") Feel free to test my previous versions so that you can compare the gamemdx.dll file and inspect if anything has changed. Or, you can manually perform the hex edit yourself since I already posted screenshots. You can follow the guide posted by @kanor (look at Pages 14 to 16, it's somewhere there) if you want to change the value that I have set, since the value of 90 ms (milliseconds) isn't an "absolute-correct" value (it depends on individual hardware configuration/setup). I been working on this on the latest MDX-2020020300 and it looks that the Cabinet type is under: 0x00E118: Which by default is the "FF 24" (blue/white). For the Gold must be "EB 71". The only problem is when I change it to the gold cabinet, there's some backgrounds that are not present so I'm wondering if the "clean dump" is missing of some files or the gold cabinets needs an specific update that include those. Also, I saw that the audio latency is under: 0x01D2A0: And the default value is "69 00 00 00" (for some reason this dump has the 69 ms, idk if was a hidden message but nice) Those are my findings, I hope it helps for someone like me today. 1

You should have joined the Discord Group that was mentioned some pages ago because I already compiled all hex edits into a Spreadsheet (for all iterations of the data dump, since 20190422). If you're already there, check the #help channel and look at the pinned messages; the spreadsheet is there. The value of 69 is the "hex" value; the equivalent decimal is 105 (this is 105 ms). When setting it to "Gold Cab Mode" I have found that a value of 90 ms is (hex value of 5a) is spot-on. This has already been explained in detail by @kanor on Page 16. What backgrounds do you find missing? The video background animation during the Music Selection? If so, make sure to re-register the two (2) DLLs found in the "com" folder. Make sure to run CMD as Administrator when registering them otherwise the registration won't "stick" (CMD will say that the registration was successful but it won't persist). EDIT: sorry I pressed Enter. Also don't forget to copy the "gold-bg" video files from your previous data dump and paste it onto the same location in the 20200203 dump. Don't worry; if you dowloaded it via the torrent it's clean. The reason why it doesn't have those "gold-bg" videos is because the data was extracted from a DDR "blue/white" cab (credit to @tw3nz0r for this bit of knowledge/insight). About the ms number, It would be hilarious if someone put that on purpose, but 105 ms makes sense. Do you have the link for the gold-bg videos? it makes sense that the clean dump was from the blue/white cabinet and that's why is not included. Cheers!

The MEGA download seems to have a couple of corrupted files vs. the torrent. We have identified the files (so you won't have to download the entire thing again). The ones currently in my MEGA are working, however they're the 20190903 versions (the "Thank You For Playing" will show up as slanted/diagonal and not horizontal - this is the easy indicator to know which version you have/are using). Download again and test. You should see that the "Date added" should be 10/12/2020 (today).

Unfortunately we didn't start this thread so we can't modify the link posted in the very first page. The latest DDR A20 is 20200203. DDRMarvel Posté(e) le 17 octobre 2020 Posté(e) le 17 octobre 2020 Thank you to all parties involved for releasing the user friendly executable! (DDR S.L.U.T.). Just had a couple questions: 1. I ran DDR A.S.S. for Blue A20, but didn't notice any change in song count from the 9/2019 build to this 2/2020 build. Are there any differences? Maybe I didn't run it at the right time? I copied the contents from contents folder to my contents folder, ran DDR A.S.S. then DDR S.L.U.T. 2. I got the game to work, despite getting an error saying "ddrio.dll was not found". Issue either corrected itself later, or I took one of the ddrios and removed the extra in the name to run that one. Just thought I'd make all aware in case they experience the same issue. 3. Now that the game is running on blue A20, I'm no longer needing to click through the 9 unlocks like one of the previous builds (major plus and time saver). Now however, I want to enable darkest filter and fast/slow timing. What needs to be done to get those to work given the current build? Perhaps this could be something to implement in the script for DDR S.L.U.T. for future releases? I saw somewhere buried In the previous posts what hex values to change, but when searching for that line and hex value, they're not located there. Example if the line is 7a80b with value 75 00 8B, value 75 00 8B isn't located at 7a80b. Need to know either A. Where are the locations and hex values needed to enable fast/slow and darkest filter. Or B. Is there a script/program or something that can be ran like in Butterfly to change these settings? After running DDR S.L.U.T., Im now just running spice.exe, blue A20 theme, SD, fullscreen on Windows XP. Some of this info may not be needed, but rather provide more instead of not enough info. Thanks in advance, And thanks again for the user friendly build!

If you're using butterfly, you can use a SQLite editor on the database for your profile. Otherwise use spicetools with clean February 2020 data, there's a new patches tab in it. 1

Thanks in advance, And thanks again for the user friendly build! Hello @DDRMarvel, TL,DR: my add-ons are not yet updated for use with the "clean" 20200203 data dump. Use at your own risk. Response in detail: Last I updated DDR A.S.S. it had the capability to forcefully unlock the 11 Golden League songs so that they are playable even when you are using Blue Cab Mode, as well as Mythomane and Digital Luv. In any case, there are no new songs added between the last data dump of 20190903 and the clean 20200203 if you've already been using my add-ons. Are there missing songs that you noticed? The file ddrio.dll is needed only if you're using Bemanitools and only when running config.exe (the configuration stage of the setup wizard). Then again, if you've been using DDR P.U.S.S.(I.E.) on the "clean" 20200203 data, do know that I haven't updated DDR P.U.S.S.(I.E.) yet. e-Amusement settings (dark, fast/slow, dancing characters, arrow type, etc.): Back then, people had to resort to hex edits because butterfly didn't exist yet (butterfly only went love during the 20190422 data, which is "late DDR Ace" timeframe). When butterfly went live (butterfly was made when the latest data dump was "late-DDR Ace" which was 20190422), it already has a built-in feature for changing the settings you are looking for. The said settings are configurable from within butterfly's database and it has been the case ever since. Also, butterfly is smart enough to "remember" your settings so it will apply the same settings until you change them again. Aside from this being already built-in with butterfly there were other tools that were also made such as ddrhax and the addition of the said function in the latest version of Spicetools as @tw3nz0r has pointed out As this is already built-in with butterfly, plus other 3rd-party tools already being available, plus the option to manually hex edit, it's already too redundant at this point to come up with yet another method. The other functionality you mentioned (ability to switch between HD and SD, ability to choose between Blue/Gold Cab) are courtesy of DDR P.U.S.S.(I.E.) which I haven't updated yet to fully function with the "clean" 20200203 data dump. Also to be clear: DDR S.L.U.T. [Standardized Local Update Tool] is the old "Update Pack" which is basically a folder containing updated files that you copy-paste over to your current data, while DDR P.U.S.S.(I.E.) [Programmed User-Selectable Setup (Improved Execution)] is the actual automation/executable you are referring to. And yeah, I noticed the S.L.U.T. is the pack, the P.U.S.S.I.E. the execution. I also found that after running the execution, I could just run spice.exe to run the game without having to run P.U.S.S.I.E. again and again. Is this accurate? Forgot to mention that initially, when trying to run In SD mode, the resolution was causing the CRT to freak out and not display correctly. Even when I made sure I was choosing option 3 which was Blue A20 SD mode according to the options available. Not sure what that was about. You mention the options of fast/slow, darkest background are available I'm butterfly or spicetools. Would someone be willing to share how to go about executing these mods in either program just in case? Screenshots preferred . I'll look around too when I get a chance. Also saw the directions regarding paseli. I always play either on free play or event mode (mainly event mode) since I play privately at home. Is this causing me to miss out on anything in Blue A20 that would be available with normal play and paseli? Thanks again.
