you can change these settings under the test menu, pressing f9, for insert credits (after turned off the freeplay mode) press f8

The test menu is in Japanese were is the option cheers buddy.

enter the test menu with F9 and select the option in red 

 

now in this menu just turn off the first opiton

 

and now save setting selecting this option under the system settings

 

 

and select yes

hi , how to exit the game . escape or alt/F4 don't seem to work .

 

anybody already tried to get the xbox controller to work in the menu . Now it only works with the mouse .

The bat is just below the mega game's compressed files. File name: load_survivors.bat

You will need to change this bat to work. Create a bat that will be best.
left4dead2.exe -console -arcadeIO_InitializeSkip -game left4dead2 -language japanese -width 1920 -height 1080

I've set it up via Xbox controller

First a script types 'exit' via hotkey, that hotkey is sent via xpadder, while I had all that setup i also use it for the mouse in-menu.

Better than nothing but works like a charm

• For those that are not aware by now, this was a pc game, turned arcade game , -released only in Japan.
• the 4 main characters were replaced by Japanese characters.
• the arcade was played with a  mouse and a wii thumb pad looking device, instead of keyboard.
• Left for dead 3 will never come out, its been 3 years since we last heard news.  Thanks for this! its a neat little anomaly that made it to arcades. 
• also its rare that a pc game is ported to an arcade, but pretty neat.  Ultimately its really just one hell of a MOD. 
• Kotaku article about it, for those interested
• this version comes in about 16gb! but again its really a pc game...

agreed man, I take more than 48 hours to finish all 8x1GB in mega nz, each 1GB per limit for 6-7 hours, and the graphic just same with original 2008 title, WTH..hehe

hello I wanted to make a formal complaint and as a gamer There is a user youtuber etc etc that uses all the information that here is so much link etc etc and takes the credit as if it were from him without giving any credit to emuline.org The "youtuber" that has a page: arcadepunks.com and the YT channel is: UK ARCADES
It seems very unfair to these users who have bragging behavior where the worst thing is that it does not give any kind of tutorial to make the games work ... VIVA emuline FOREVER AND FOREVER

There might be, i made a "lite" version of cyberdiver and got the size from 8.7GB to 3.8GB because it had a ton of unused hl2 and tf2 files. Left4Dead Survivors looks to have all the files from the pc version so there has to be some which aren't being used in the arcade version

i start the bat file with left4dead2.exe -console -arcadeIO_InitializeSkip -game left4dead2 -language english -noborder -steam -width 1920 -height 1080

 

the game will start and i see the loadsing screen but then after 10 seconds it will exit automaticly.....

Same here. On Win 8.1 64bit  it works, but on Win 7 32Bit doesnt.

Any suggestions ?

The game is 64-bit hence it won't run on 32-bit systems

WoW... just Wooooooow!!  

 

I did a quick test... the insert coins feature seems to react a bit in a strange way cause i can start the game also with zero coins just by pressing the mouse...

and the console shell sometimes appears and sometimes not... anyone is experiencing the same thing?

 

and last but not least.... is it normal the initial loading time?  it takes a bit too long for being an arcade...
