v1.13 All cars and colors are unlocked.
v3.59 6 cars in game.

* v1.27 All cars and colors are unlocked but game crashed if you choose some cars and colors.

So is 1.13 the "definitive" version? I would image there's a lot of improvements and fixes between 1.13 and 3.59, albeit it at the cost of some cars. I also have versions 1.27 and 2.06....so hard to know what to use. If I can at least narrow it down to TWO builds that between them provide all the game's content, I'd be happy! :)

UPDATE: Scoured this thread and RawThrills changelog here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1nBcmtrBiEIUsm2Gd4JTNZk0kxEVVYdoYLm7V3yeyHC8/edit

Basically for the public dumps:

  • 1.13: All 10 cars and colors are unlocked.
  • 1.27 (uncracked exe): All 10 cars and colors are unlocked but game crashed if you choose some cars and colors?
  • 2.06 : Lost F&F branding and 4 cars by this version (see detailed changelog above)
  • 3.59 : Latest version

So since 1.27 wasn't cracked that leaves us with 3 playable versions. Seems like 1.13 has all the content (minus some fixes) and 3.59 has all the fixes minus branding and 4 cars (upgrade over 2.06). So between 1.13 + 3.59, I guess you get everything you could want. Hopefully this helps others.

interesting

is this OS the same as this one? Windows Embedded POSReady 2009 Evaluation

Yes, it is but it's the original XP Embedded SP3 from 2007 with a Full License Key. But both XP embedded builds use Target Designer instead of an Automated Image Build Wizard which is on POSReady2009. If you want to build the original XP embedded here's the full key to do so. QVK9M-JC8PD-9DFW2-Y993W-M8JRQ (This key is from the SuperCars 1.13 OS)

I do have a full working key for POSReady2009 (KGRMV-TWG8H-43Y2K-7PJBC-PM4CB)

I haven't found ones for Embedded Standard 2009 yet but Raw Thrills uses the regular XP embedded unlike Sega, and Namco went to 2009

I have 1.13 working perfectly BUT I can't get the steering to work right. Always pulls to the right. I've calibrated the wheel several times in game.

Anyone else have this problem?

Update:

Fixed it. Think a jconfig bug. During calibration in game, pressing all the way left results in a broken value of 65k, instead of 0. If I hold it partially to the left and complete calibraition it works fine. Shouldn't have to do that though obviously. Using a Xbox SX pad and xinput.

1.27 can probably be done if there’s a good reason. No need for piles of revisions.

Yeah, seem unneccesary. See the changelog I posted above. I don't see anything desired from launch (1.13) until the last build in changelog (2.02). I think we got enough (launch build and final build playable). Rather that time go into more games! :)

1.13 - Jconfig

2.06 - MohkerzLoaderz

3.59 - Jconfig and TP

I think you have to use the Sdaemon.exe file, but I will let you know once I've downloaded the game and tried it.

Currently I have the ver with 6 cars and all tracks so

I guess 1.13 is the same with 4 more cars and total 10 so it should be the best ver

i think lol(so many versions😵‍💫)

It should work with the new jc loader

maybe the av program deleted by mistake some needed files on my side

I ran the game using "Sdaemon_1.13.exe", and I have 9 cars to choose from it seems. I might have to count them again if there's 10 like you say. :very-good:

having issues with this. after calibration. i am able to insert coins but it crashes when pressing start? do i have to correct dump?

That's strange. I downloaded the 1.13 version from Virusman's site, and then I put the game in C:\rawart. Had no issues with it, apart from Vsync not working properly after you finish a race (racing results and high score screen flashes by ultra fast).

okay so then it must be my dump let me try because i have it in the C: drive just an error and im using the jconfig version im going to test on my other computer

I always put all my Raw Thrills (Jconfig versions) in C:\rawart. That way I can be sure they are working fine.

Do this with all RT games just to be sure if you are playing them using Jconfig. I have several RT games in C:\ and my structure for the games are like this.

C:\rawart

C:\rawart2

C:\rawart3

C:\rawart 4 etc etc.

Good to know. It is always best to run RT games directly from C:\rawart, especially when using Jconfig as I mentioned. Otherwise the games may crash or don't boot correctly etc etc. I've learned the "hard" way. :very-good:

Posté(e)

Doesn't need to be in C root. Just close to root. I have all my RT games in something like this and they're fine:  D:\F&F\F&F SuperCars\rawart

Keep stuff off your OS drive as much as possible. ;)

If you downloaded version 1.13, the game should work just fine.

Anyone else find the controls not as responsive as  2.06 or 3.59 with 1.13 double tap of gas to do wheelie works 1 in 5

I only find the wheelies hard to do. Like you said, it works1 out of 5 tries or so. Other than that, everything else seems to play like the older version to me.

The reason why they are difficult is that the old version does not have the patches or fixes like on later revisions also all the sounds don't really sync up very well unless you're running it on Windows XP. On newer versions, they fixed all the Issues and Syncs up for Windows 7 or better so the wheelies and controls, in general, are optimized on those newer versions because the OS has been changed after 2.09 to Windows 7 Embedded so the Audio Sync, and Analog Controls are very responsive due to optimization speed for newer D3D APIs. It was always like this for all D3D8 Games after Windows 7 got released.

what is the difference between the two decrypted sdaemon.exe, and sdaemon_113.exe.

Is sdaemon.exe meant for a different version, and the 113 is for v113?

I tried both in version 113, and sdaemon gave 6 cars where 113 gave 10 (9 available + 1 locked)

Basically 4 more cars on 1.13 ver other then that I don’t see any significant difference
