Hi Guys, 

In the future if/when specific JConfigs are released for SNK Heroines and King of Fighters XIV, is there any chance that these will be playable on W7?

 

Currently, with the Fighting Ex Layer JConfig, I am getting the following error: "the ordinal 1 could not be located in the dynamic link library XAudio2_8.dll"

 

 I know XAudio2_8.dll is a Windows 8 file. The funny thing is there is a version of XAudio2_9.dll that works with Windows 7, but XAudio2_8.dll is W8 only for some reason. I know on other games, issues like this have been fixed/altered by the loader to be W7 playable? Any chance this may be doable with future game specific JConfigs? I know it's  a lot of "what if" questions, but just seeing if this has any possibility of happening.

Don't know for Road Fighters 3D because I'm using a xbox gamepad for it, no need to set J2K.

 

Anyway, if you set in spicecfg.exe keyboards and mouse buttons then you can use J2K for assigning the controls to a gamepad but it's not a good idea because RF 3D can be controlled with a gamepad without J2K.

 

 

Let me know if you need a TUTO for it, I can do it  :)

Hi Guys,

I'm running W7 64bits, 750ti GPU, and proper JConfig/Imac32 versions and am having some issues with a few games:

Blade Strangers - I have no audio with this game no matter what I do.

Blade Arcus - game shows opening logos then crashes (exe stopped working) - I've tried cruz.exe.orig, and the jconfig exe - same result

Phantom Breaker - game just crashes while loading (exe stopped working)

 

I would really like to get these games working and don't understand why they are not. Any advice/help is truly appreciated

Did you solve the problem? I am having the same issue with ID6 and ID8. And for all initial D games (6,7 and 8) the left button does not work when fake pedals and steering wheel are enabled.

i had the same problem with those games on win10, suppose you have no sound either in the guilty gears games too ....

hoping this help:

I removed some ms visual c++ redistributable installs (2012 editon in particular) and be sure DirectX Software Development Kit is installed correctly. (remove and reinstall if needed)

Hi, thank you. I reloaded DXSDK_Jun10.exe and it fixed my issue.

Will try the other things above too if this happens again in the future. Seems like adding new games can screw things up.

I'm sorry restart didn't fix it for you, here it works.

Are you using the latest JConfig version for it?

Tell me what kind of gamepad you have and tell me which buttons you want map and I will do that for you.
