Question, I would love to use jconfig or rconfig to run certain games however I have never been able to.  Every time I go to set the controls and try to assign a key it sets to Joy 1 Button 225.  I've been hoping new releases would fix it but its been years and I still have the problem.  This doesn't happen on any other emulator/loaders.  What am I missing?

I have those issues when I have my analog devices that have no proper dead zone attached. (Analog arcade joystick, steering wheel, etc)

If you have any of those type, try unplugging them them when mapping and see if that helps.

For those who are using a front end with their games - how are you guys getting back to the front end? Specifically Spicetools and DDR,  I might be overlooking it, yet not seeing a way to map an exit key in spicecfg.exe.

You are mapping the exit key in your frontend, not in spice tools, your frontend will close the windows for pretty much any game in the same way.
