Daytona on Windows 10 Problem :( ......!!

 

I have been running Daytona on windows 7 perfectly (no speed problems, no gfx problems)

and now i updated to Windows 10 to be able to run Outrun 2 as well (works perfectly on win10 in TeknoParrot but not on Win7)

Now i am experiencing Speed drop where one second on the timer of daytona is about 4 seconds, and everything moves extremely slow including menus on Daytona USA, i also get GFX glitches both in game and in menus.

All drivers for my Nvidia GTX650 is installed and checks out.

 

PLEASE--- PLEASE Someone help me figure out how to get Daytona running smoothly on my Windows 10 :/

I already tried :/ no luck unfortunately - even tried running it on stock intel graphics with the same issues

Daytona runs extremely slow, stutter on my WIn 7 64 core 2 6600 with HD7700 card.  I assumed it was my card.  Runs fine on my Win10 PC.  Perhaps it is drivers?

The service button is activated by a button on the keyboard. I am sure. I tried. And I entered. I learned from a message on the page of the game topic. I remember U or T button. I havent been playing these game for a long time.

What steering wheel are you using?

Thrustmaster leather incl shift Box and pedal box. I bought this for daytona 1 and to so if there is any option to use it would be great. If not please let me know what kind of device I need to buy... I really wann play this game.... 

 

 

Ah and one more thing

I can't download patch 3.3 from 1st site. It will be blocked every time with the warning virus detected. I do not have any anti virus progamm. I selected the zip files file by file and the problem is the launcher exe inside....

You have to disable your antivirus and run it. Try it and let us know

For the people who have Daytona crash to desktop with the preconfigured link from the previous pages:

i tried with Teknoparrot 1.80 and had the crash too.

After i updated to Teknoparrot 1.86 everything worked (including the awesome FFB plug-In!)

 

Much better than the X360 configuration.

So:

-Use preconfigured version.

-Install teknoparrot 1.86.

-Install FFB plugin

-WIN!

One more question regarding the xinput. Where do I have to play the extracted files? 

 

And on big whish... 

 

Would it be possible to edit first post with same checklist for dummies? 

 

Example

 

1. Link for game

2. Latest patch

3. Patch for controls

4. Setup checklist 

 

And so on.... 

 

I honestly highly regard your all work here. I have spent lots of money in the arcade for daytona 1 and 2. Played insanely. To play part 3 at home is pure awesome but I am not that familiar with some settings or configuration and this kind of checklist will help a lot.

Use a Evga 750 2gb video or a 1050 evga 2gb video on windows 7 with 4gm ram and 3.0 processor

Well i am trying to do a copy too but more like the rush 2049 with a engine inside  coming soon more pictures.

1050 is overkill, I use 1030 GT which is cheaper

I am also able to play the game with any controller thanx to this awesome tutorial here

 

One more question ...

I installed also the DS2K Thing.
The changes wont be permanent. Do i have to set it in the ini instead the service menue ?

How to choose between automatic and manual gear shiftbox ?

Manual is alsways locked.

I just played daytona 1 Arcade. 

In the service menu you have to switch Japan for getting kph. Localisation and version is put of service... Grey.. So is it possible to modify the exe for this? 

 

And I need help how to set the manual gear shift on the abxy buttons...

The game doesn't seem to want to run in fullscreen for me. Every time I hit Alt+Enter, I just get a black screen and audio. Is there a way to fix this or at least get it running in a borderless window?

Both are enabled. The game is also stuck at a resolution of 1280x720 despite the INI files specifying 1920x1080. :shrug:

Sorry for the dumb question but i Haven’t played this in awhile and now when I play quick race there are no other cars, like time trial mode. How do you get out of that of switch it?

nevermind, this was caused by TeknoParrot 193, when I went back to 190 time lap was defaulted to off.

LOL but it is the only thing that works so well with the G27 wheel. Turning is very smooth, any other way the steering is jerky and not much fun.
