  1. Ha - so here were results: - Traditional upgrade from 2020020300 to 2020031700 to 2020072800 to 2021031600 to 2021080400 loads all songs, with two highlighted bars and perpetual state of 'songs unlocked' - Upgrade from 2020020300 to 2021080400 AiO v2 leads to not all songs unlocked, but no issue with 'songs unlocked' bars - Traditional upgrade from 2020020300 to 2020031700 to 2020072800 to 2021031600 Clean to 2021080400 Clean leads to not all songs unlocked, but no issue Is there a way to unlock all with AiO v2? Is that manual edit of gamemdx.dll? I cannot find patcher online for A20 PLUS...
  2. Everything working minus expected songs… anyone figure out this yellow bar across jackets? Looks like it’s related to song unlock
  3. Also crashes for me - have a fully working MDX-001-2020020300 I copied and then copied into. Followed steps exactly Putting modules in the root level and modules level... looks like it only reads from root level When using any new ones (ark3) fails with former screenshot referencing DLL failure... even with eAmuse disabled (which I figured might cause crash). With old ark3 it lLooks like 2020020300 with extra songs and glitched jackets, with A20 graphics, not A20+ Should I just start from scratch fully? Anything potentially easy to solve?
  4. So, I've figured it out after testing! Wanted to reply back with findings. Scanners actually work with proper eAmusement card. It also natively works with -scard enabled, at least on Windows 10 - no drivers required. I had attempted to configure a blank NFC card with my card ID, but did not get it to successfully function (yet).. I play on Player 2, and it did not work. I then realized that this requires TWO readers for -scardflip to properly validate. But it does when both are connected/detected. So to get this 'full' experience working, you will need: 1x eAmusement card 2x NFC scanners (I ordered this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KEGQFYY?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details) With this you will have an awesome, life-like startup process. For bonus points I recommend this keypad mounted to the side of the machine. I use it to replicate both the arrows and numpad for pin (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FFLNF5C?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details)
  5. For physical NFC reader... I am very curious to see what it looks like, since it would also be 1 reader and same situation. I have purchased a card reader/writer, setup a card with the ID from SpiceCompanion app and emabled scardflip - but nothing seems to be triggering within the game. Would there be any resources about setting up this type of card? Is there anything I am missing?
  6. Ahh gotcha. That is how I'm currently using it - have a few cards installed in the app and then select the card/select the proper player and then select 'Insert Card' and it works. It even works with the app on multiple devices using the same ID's! So I will try adding multiple ID's with Spice Companion app and then scanning a card on the reader. I will test. I know that SpiceCompanion emulates the 'swipe' and am really curious to see what happens with a real swipe. Will reply back with findings!
  7. So with physical card method, if I add card in SpiceCompanion and insert card manually to add to database... if I then scan that card on a reader... that automatically registers as a card insert with the right ID and starts?
  8. Yep! I have been doing it virtually with SpiceCompanion and it is cool but a few extra steps to take out phone and press 'Insert Card' when I can theoretically just swipe something/put a chip to a reader. I think I will try contactless NFC - will try first with regular card but will then have option for e-Amusements. Thinking to order this as it will allow for the writing as well - https://www.amazon.com/Duplicator-13-56MHz-Encrypted-Programmer-Writable/dp/B088FB92XL/ref=sr_1_11?dchild=1&keywords=black+nfc+reader&qid=1619634253&sr=8-11 My only question would be - how does the game understand that a swipe is a card being loaded, if it is all configured within SpiceTools virtually? Would I map this to a keystroke? Or does this just 'work' from your experience/understanding?
  9. Ahh gotcha. I'm just thinking maybe I need to play with a USB/NFC scanner to prompt it to press the 'virtual card' button? Since that seems to be the trigger with a card loaded. Except it would need to be on the machine. Totally understood on e-Amusement identity not being the same as on official. What would you think would be most sensible? Get an E-Amusement card, modify my local ID to match new and then use an NFC scanner? Or go HID-style swipe card? Also do you know if E-Amusement is anything special or just regular NFC?
  10. One last question. So, I've gotten everything working... and it's awesome... and I want to take it to the full experience. I have working virtual passes with Butterfly/SpiceCompanion and Virtual Swipe button. But I want to make myself some cards and get a little scanner/NFC reader so I can emulate the proper experience. Are these cards regular HID-style cards? Can I just write the ID line to it and then scan and have it work for that function? Or is it a special type of card needed. I realize this is probably completely excessive as this is just in my home for myself but I really want to go full experience. Would you have any info/experience with that piece?
  11. Just wanted to say this is ridiculously awesome. SpiceTools works - the FAQ answered all questions - clean notes for implementation. With regards to the keypad, I just ordered a number keypad for this function and read up on the SpiceCompanion app. It does everything you’d want... A few questions: 1. Is the Discord still active? Joined, but no messages can load. Wondering if this is the only way to communicate. 2. Is this actual DDR? Or a rip running in an app that supports the content? It all works, I’m just curious from a technical perspective. 3. How often is new data put out there? Every major version? I’m getting the impression that it’s now DDR-as-a-Service, with semi-regular patches and song adds. Is that the case?
